Backing up a bit. I have said we should look past the words, and seek a deeper meaning.
When we read of 12 hours day and night. One may find this also speaking of one's spiritual life.
When one follows a teaching, they must not do so blindly. Always test everything with the word. If we simply take it as truth we walk in darkness. Never seeing the light.
To tell the truth, for me, I see this, listen to all, read all, be willing from God to hear truth over error, through it all.
Be a willing vessel for God to do God's done work of Son through you, be used by God and God will do that through those that are willing, not having to, willing to, just like God did on Pentecost, working his done work of Son through the disciples, onto the crowd. As they heard the others speak in their languages as confirmation they believe now too.
This world is full of Truth and error, not truth and dares, Errors! evil, uses truth to get errors in us.
God knows the truth in love to all in his mercy, truth and love given for all to turn to believe and see if one will do so willingly, even through any adversities happened, happening or might happen, like as Job went through, not ever denying God ever. Will we deny God? Have we over troubles, at least thought to deny God?
So, we the people make mistakes, God is here for us to see us choose to agree with God, not as a tyrant, (Oh, I am going to get you) as man does that in religion, is a lie. God is our friend, thanks to Son's done work for us. In Son's done work for us to learn new from mistakes made, seeing to not harm others or convict others or accuse or excuse either.
Be wise as a serpent, remain harmless as a dove. That is the hard part, to be aware, and remain harmless in that awareness. How hard that must have been for Son Jesus to reconcile us all in his one time willing death as forgiven, that is done (John 19:30) (2 Cor 5:17-20)
Time to ask for the new life in the risen Son, Jesus Christ, you think? And stand in that, even in any and all adversities that come up against us.

Jhn 11:30Jesus had stayed outside the village, at the place where Martha met him.
Jhn 11:31When the people who were at the house consoling Mary saw her leave so hastily, they assumed she was going to Lazarus's grave to weep. So they followed her there.
Jhn 11:32When Mary arrived and saw Jesus, she fell at his feet and said, "Lord, if only you had been here, my brother would not have died."
Jhn 11:33When Jesus saw her weeping and saw the other people wailing with her, a deep anger welled up within him, and he was deeply troubled.

Why was Yeshua angry? We all know that the actions of a group people can influence the way someone thinks. Even to the point of diminishing ones faith. It would be harder to hold on to hope, when all around you are without hope. We must think about the insincerity of the people around. We must always try to be honest in everything we do, if for no other reason than to not become a stumbling block for others.

Jhn 11:34"Where have you put him?" he asked them.
They told him, "Lord, come and see."
Jhn 11:35Then Jesus wept.

This act of weeping shows us many things about Yeshua, He is human, fells pain, and loves all the people.

Jhn 11:36The people who were standing nearby said, "See how much he loved him!"
Jhn 11:37But some said, "This man healed a blind man. Couldn't he have kept Lazarus from dying?"
Jhn 11:38Jesus was still angry as he arrived at the tomb, a cave with a stone rolled across its entrance.

Jhn 11:39"Roll the stone aside," Jesus told them.
But Martha, the dead man's sister, protested, "Lord, he has been dead for four days. The smell will be terrible."
Jhn 11:40Jesus responded, "Didn't I tell you that you would see God's glory if you believe?"

If you believe? As we stated above, the action of a group can influance the thoughts of others. In this case Yeshua makes it clear that to receive, a blessing we must believe. Not just in ones mind, our faithfulness must be 100%.

Jhn 11:41So they rolled the stone aside. Then Jesus looked up to heaven and said, "Father, thank you for hearing me.
Jhn 11:42You always hear me, but I said it out loud for the sake of all these people standing here, so that they will believe you sent me."
Jhn 11:43Then Jesus shouted, "Lazarus, come out!"

I was once asked, how HaShem raised Yeshua without becoming unclean. Well here it is. there is no reason to think that our creator needed to more than say the words, and Yeshua was risen.

Jhn 11:44And the dead man came out, his hands and feet bound in graveclothes, his face wrapped in a headcloth. Jesus told them, "Unwrap him and let him go!"
Jhn 11:45Many of the people who were with Mary believed in Jesus when they saw this happen.
Jhn 11:46But some went to the Pharisees and told them what Jesus had done.

From this we can say that Yeshua had the faithfulness to do what He had came to do. We must also make note of somethings. I know this won't go over well with some, yet the words here don't lie. If you will make note here that Lazarus was wrapped with 2 different cloths. One covered His body, the other his face. This was how the burial was done, and in many cases is still done today. Well at lest many Jews still follow this practice.
So I ask for any that think the Shroud of Turin is real, Why is there only one cloth? Just one example of reading the Word for what it tells us, rather than reading into the Word what we want.

Good point at the end, thanks. I do know translations are not inerrant. The only inerrant scripture is the original writings of the disciples, in the Greek writings. Translated to English, there are many mistakes made.
Such as the word If, and since.

Does if mean since in Greek?

Class Conditions of "IF" in Greek: 1. First class = (If) what follows is accepted as TRUE. Could be translated "since" or "because". True statement or fulfilled condition.

Romans 4:24
but for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;

The word If above to me should be translated since. We each will see, those that beleive God on god's timing not mine or anyone else's

Jhn 11:47Then the leading priests and Pharisees called the high council together. "What are we going to do?" they asked each other. "This man certainly performs many miraculous signs.
Jhn 11:48If we allow him to go on like this, soon everyone will believe in him. Then the Roman army will come and destroy both our Temple and our nation."

Again we find something odd. Even though here we find that the Sanhedrin was called, unlike the last time, something isn't being done correctly. We stand on the idea that the only way to fore a trial to be right, is for the Sanhedrin to sit in judgement. Here we see that, unlike the last time we said anything about this. Yet something is a bit off.
Just as we have seen here in the USA with the trial of someone we all know, there is no crime named. To find a person guilty, the first thing one needs to know are the facts. Of them the most impotent is, What is the crime. Without that being named, not one person can say if the case against Him has been proven. Yes that is a simplified way to look at this, yet that is what I have found most on here need.

Jhn 11:50You don't realize that it's better for you that one man should die for the people than for the whole nation to be destroyed."
Jhn 11:51He did not say this on his own; as high priest at that time he was led to prophesy that Jesus would die for the entire nation.
Jhn 11:52And not only for that nation, but to bring together and unite all the children of God scattered around the world.
Jhn 11:53So from that time on, the Jewish leaders began to plot Jesus' death.

As we can see from the passages, their intent was to kill Yeshua. This makes it clear they were condemning Him with no interest in the laws, only their standing, power, and doctrine were the driving force behind their actions. However to get into that would remove the intent of this thread. So let's move on.

Jhn 11:54As a result, Jesus stopped his public ministry among the people and left Jerusalem. He went to a place near the wilderness, to the village of Ephraim, and stayed there with his disciples.
Jhn 11:55It was now almost time for the Jewish Passover celebration, and many people from all over the country arrived in Jerusalem several days early so they could go through the purification ceremony before Passover began.
Jhn 11:56They kept looking for Jesus, but as they stood around in the Temple, they said to each other, "What do you think? He won't come for Passover, will he?"
Jhn 11:57Meanwhile, the leading priests and Pharisees had publicly ordered that anyone seeing Jesus must report it immediately so they could arrest him.

The Village of Ephraim was about 12 miles north of Jerusalem, In what today could be called the south end of the Golan Heights. One can say that Yeshua was not hunted, rather they simply waited for Him to return.
Like they say, out of sight out of mind. Only Yeshua wasn't forgotten, just pushed aside for now.

I must make something clear here. It is us, it is simply me. I had it placed on my heart that I need to move a bit faster. You see for some reason in my heart it is being made clear that we need to move to the teachings of Yeshua as found in Rev. Not sure why that is so heavy on my heart, when we haven't even came close to looking at His life and faith. So it may come about that I open a new thread to look at this, even though in my mind it is a part of this thread. Then again I may simplify this part so we move through it a little faster.

Quite interesting, to look at his earth physical life. What he did. He healed, related in truth Faith to his Father, for us to be lead new. Said he was not here to be King here. His Kingdom is in Heaven, led by his Father who sent him. Yet in all his doings, healing, relieving people from their stresses. That, got the Sanhedrin, The religious leaders jealous, this was intruding on their profits of money from the people, that they were getting, these people were getting advice from the religious leaders. Jesus had overtaken this in his miracles and sayings, people wanted to know where he was at, no one going to the clergy anymore.
Job security is what got Jesus killed, by those in charge.
Job security is still active today, How? people in charge of people.
By fear from the people, to have to do and go or not go or do, led by the people in as priests today, including government. I am not saying to rebel against anyone to be clear.

It was Constantine that instituted Churches. You see the Churches erected in his time, were full of pagan priests, that no one was attending. So, he called a meeting and told these pagan priests to say they believe, and the people will come to your place of worship and give you money. Just preach Jesus as dead, oh yes he is risen, but avoid that part, get the people working for it. That is what religion is today. A work for it. to get in or to be able to stay in. all of flesh nature, that cannot please God.
However
The Life of Jesus in the flesh was/is perfect, and he did what was needed for us the people under Law. (Gal 3:19-26) To release us and stand in trust to Father who raised Son from the dead, for new life to begin in us the people that believe God Son is risen for them to be new, and God enters in the Holy,y Spirit to teach us our troubles and how to be content in them, continuing in trust for God to do through us, what we see we can't do. At least for me
Thank you

Jhn 12:1Six days before the Passover celebration began, Jesus arrived in Bethany, the home of Lazarus—the man he had raised from the dead.
Jhn 12:2A dinner was prepared in Jesus' honor. Martha served, and Lazarus was among those who ate with him.
Jhn 12:3Then Mary took a twelve-ounce jar of expensive perfume made from essence of nard, and she anointed Jesus' feet with it, wiping his feet with her hair. The house was filled with the fragrance.
Jhn 12:4But Judas Iscariot, the disciple who would soon betray him, said,
Jhn 12:5"That perfume was worth a year's wages. It should have been sold and the money given to the poor."

For any that don't know, nard comes from the Himalaya, this helps to understand why it cost so much.

Jhn 12:6Not that he cared for the poor—he was a thief, and since he was in charge of the disciples' money, he often stole some for himself.
Jhn 12:7Jesus replied, "Leave her alone. She did this in preparation for my burial.
Jhn 12:8You will always have the poor among you, but you will not always have me."

Many times in life we may see or read something that makes us think, WHY? I know I have, and even today I am left to wonder why do we spend so much on space travel, museums, and so on. There is nothing to help the poor, or those unable to work. Would that money not be better spent to lift up those in need? As we know, Yeshua cared more about the people than the stars, should we not do the same?

Jhn 12:9When all the people heard of Jesus' arrival, they flocked to see him and also to see Lazarus, the man Jesus had raised from the dead.
Jhn 12:10Then the leading priests decided to kill Lazarus, too,
Jhn 12:11for it was because of him that many of the people had deserted them and believed in Jesus.

When we look at the world today, has it changed much from then? When you look at what is going in the world, it really hasn't. Those that have power will do anything to hold on to it. War, lies, use of the legal system, anything they think will help them.

Jhn 12:12The next day, the news that Jesus was on the way to Jerusalem swept through the city. A large crowd of Passover visitors
Jhn 12:13took palm branches and went down the road to meet him. They shouted,
"Praise God!
Blessings on the one who comes in the name of the LORD!
Hail to the King of Israel!"
Jhn 12:14Jesus found a young donkey and rode on it, fulfilling the prophecy that said:
Jhn 12:15"Don't be afraid, people of Jerusalem.
Look, your King is coming,
riding on a donkey's colt.

As we should know, all prophecy must be fulfilled. Even those that deal with His second coming. We will see more on this as we move foreword.

Sorry for the long delay, I had to clear my mind of the the events that have filled the news over the last week. Unlike some, my mind was filled with the words of Yeshua, and what it will be like in the end days. I will return later today to move forward with this study, so let's all pray for HaShems will, and not our own. Not only in regards to this study, the nation and the world as well.

Jhn 12:16His disciples didn't understand at the time that this was a fulfillment of prophecy. But after Jesus entered into his glory, they remembered what had happened and realized that these things had been written about him.

Though the jewush life is filled with study, and starts as soon one can hear, they failed to understand what was happening right before their eyes. This should serve as a warning to us today. If we fail to understand what is going on in the world, and don't understand the teachings of Yeshua, will we know the difference between Yeshua and the beast of rev. 13? Will we know Him when He comes, or think that He is the imposter?

Jhn 12:17Many in the crowd had seen Jesus call Lazarus from the tomb, raising him from the dead, and they were telling others about it.
Jhn 12:18That was the reason so many went out to meet him—because they had heard about this miraculous sign.

Sadly many will see the things the beast does and think, "This has to be Yeshua." Don't get me wrong, I can understand why this may come about. As we will see in time, and we will let the Word show the answer.

Jhn 12:19Then the Pharisees said to each other, "There's nothing we can do. Look, everyone has gone after him!"
Jhn 12:20Some Greeks who had come to Jerusalem for the Passover celebration
Jhn 12:21paid a visit to Philip, who was from Bethsaida in Galilee. They said, "Sir, we want to meet Jesus."
Jhn 12:22Philip told Andrew about it, and they went together to ask Jesus.
Jhn 12:23Jesus replied, "Now the time has come for the Son of Man to enter into his glory.

This has sparect some debate with in our little circle. What follows isn't meant to be seen as an answer to the debate, as it is still on going. We have that see this and ask, Were they circumcised? After all the Torah does say if a gentile wishes to enter into a Jewish home to celebrate Passover, they must be. Please note; it never tells us they were wanting to do this. It only wanted to meet Yeshua, and most likely ask some questions. So to assume this can be a bit misleading. Others of us think this may well have been simply Greek speaking Jews, as they were there for Passover. At this time, not many Greeks would be there for Passover. As we should know then, as in some Jewish homes today, Gentiles were not alowed to enter a Jewish home. So though we may not know for sure at this time, I stand on the later opinion. That in no way means I am right, it is just what makes seance to me at this time.

Jhn 12:24I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat is planted in the soil and dies, it remains alone. But its death will produce many new kernels—a plentiful harvest of new lives.
Jhn 12:25Those who love their life in this world will lose it. Those who care nothing for their life in this world will keep it for eternity.
Jhn 12:26Anyone who wants to be my disciple must follow me, because my servants must be where I am. And the Father will honor anyone who serves me.

I know I may sound like a broken record at times. However, it can't be said enough. Can a person that doesn't understand Yeshua's life, teachings, and His faith ever truly follow Him? It has became clear to us the answer to that is NO. As the world has moved from His teachings and replaced them what is called Paulithisum, they move away from the truth. This is clear when someone wishes to try to nullify the sound doctrine of Yeshua's teachings, and at times even the teachings of Paul. How do they do this one many ask. Well they simply use Paul in a twisted manner to make the Word fit their wishes. With no regard to Yeshua, Paul, or any part of the Word. More on this when we get to Rev. and the letters to the 7 churches.
Please keep in mind, I have said, adn will stand by the fact that this isn't about Paul, and we will not entertain Paul in this thread. Even though I can see it coming, we simply will not get into that. I know this stand is frustrating to some, yet how can we entertain misguided teachings, when we are seeking truth? After all if the law is done away with, Yeshua would be a lair, and there would no need to repent from non-extant sin.

Father with Son as won (One) took away the Law, in himself first on that cross, Jesus did that willingly. To save, whosoever, will believe God Father in that done work. Then ask in trust to get given the new life offered in the risen Son. These kids, pass from first birth death to life eternal, 2nd birth. With Father and Son, these get taught by God, to simply love God’s love, imputed in them by God for them (1 Cor 13:4-7)
Learn, to be wiser than serpents, remain harmless as doves.

Now show evidents of that in the Teachings of Yeshua. Like I made clear this thread is about the life, teachings and faith of Yeshua. Paul is a topic not looked at here. Why? Paul as you have just done is used to negate the teachings of Yeshua. We can't find truth if we try to make points that simply don't follow logic.

The truth of Yashua, not revealed, until after the risen Jesus.
the life of Yashua in the flesh, was to do the Law under law perfectly.
his earth walk, born of the Virgin Mary in the tribe of Judah. Espoused to Joseph. Who did not impregnate Mary, at a young age she 13, 14. Was honored by God to be miraculously pregnant. when Son, born as Jesus, Yashua, Immanuel. The messiah to redeem us in God’s Spirit and truth. His purpose was to fulfill the Law and Prophets first, said that to John the Baptist. went to that cross, to die once and for all, to be reconciled to Father as forgiven. He did that and said in John 19:30, it is finished. He did say in Matthew 5;17. Here to Fulfill Law and Prophets. Died, proved death, three days. While dead, was in spirit prison, where he preached there also. To release the other believers held there before the Christ, messiah came. Held there by Satan then. Released at resurrection. Matthew 27;52
‘this was not known until Pentecost. Where it is Father, the Holy Spirit that enlightens the kin. Been going on ever since.
again Jesus’ purpose, to fulfill the law and prophets. He did it, said he did that. John 19:30.
he fulfilled the Law, so the new Law of Love could be in place for all. There is no command against God’s love 1 Cor 13:4-7, 13
so go ahead, see Yashua the perfect one, the only one that shares this with all that believe without any selfishness
‘get born again by God, not by man.
love from God to you as well as everyone else too.

You know I love it when Mat. 5:17 comes up. So thank you for that. So let us now look at is really said in that verse.

Mat 5:17"Don't misunderstand why I have come. I did not come to abolish the law of Moses or the writings of the prophets. No, I came to accomplish their purpose.

In 16 of the 17 translation I have on hand it does use the word fulfill. How ever to try and use that one word to nullify the rest of the passage is a bit dishonest. So lets brake it down and see why I can say that with authority.

This passage opens with,
""Don't misunderstand why I have come."
Yet for some reason this is over looked by so many. Next He follows up with,
"I did not come to abolish the law of Moses or the writings of the prophets. "
Please note that He makes it clear, even in the King James, and every translation I have ever looked at. He did not come to abolish the Laws or the Prophets. Yet many wish to make the claim He did just that. WHY, when it is clear as day He said that is wrong.
No, I came to accomplish their purpose.
Now for Him to accomplish all the Laws and Prophets, means He has fulfilled every prophecy ever given about Him. Yet He has not done that as yet. Before you say He has, keep in mind He told us He would come again. So when did this come about? It hasn't.
Also, as we should understand, the Feast are to be fulfilled as well. After all they are a prophetic pic of Him. Yet Yam Kipper, (the day of atonement, or judgement) is still to come. Along with others.
Now to make sure you get the full story, lets look at,

Mat 5:18I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not even the smallest detail of God's law will disappear until its purpose is achieved.

As we know the earth is still here, and so is Heaven. So by the teachings of Yeshua, Who we know has to be true, and honest, the law simply can't not be removed. If it has been then that would make Yeshua a lair. There for rendering His sacrifice null and void.
Now answer this if you will.
Is sin still in the world? Please give a simple yes or no.

yes, but not in God Fathers’ sight, Yeshua took care of that sin issue. Flesh itself is not redeemed yet. Not in everyone. The Law remains in place for the “unbelievers“
Hebrews 1
it is all done by Yashua, God Father approved. Yashua risen. Where the born again new life begins, in each person that decides to believe God Father of risen Son Jesus personally
one is given the new
accepted, forgiven, sealed, Eph. 1:6,7,13 by God Father through Son. The only mediator between man and God.
religions’ problem is it is do it yourself, with God’s help. Which invites the enemies of God in them,
the devil, evil comes to places of worship to appear as good. People of the flesh get deceived. Thinking they are getting it under other people, and are not.
the Evil appears as an Angel of light. To even try to deceive the very elect.
have a great day
Law is only in place today for the unbelievers Gal. 3:19-26
That is why verse 18 is there of Matthew 5. Not all evil has yet gotten put under Jesus’ feet. Hebrews 1

So HaShem has set up a double standard? We know, or should know that is not just by any means of the word. The law by your own admittance is as valid today as it was the day it was given. Yet at the same time you wish to say it was removed.

Mat 5:45In that way, you will be acting as true children of your Father in heaven. For he gives his sunlight to both the evil and the good, and he sends rain on the just and the unjust alike.

As can be seen in the above passage, HaShem treats both the just and unjust in the same manner.

Jhn 12:27"Now my soul is deeply troubled. Should I pray, 'Father, save me from this hour'? But this is the very reason I came!
Jhn 12:28Father, bring glory to your name."
Then a voice spoke from heaven, saying, "I have already brought glory to my name, and I will do so again."

Some may think we have lost our minds, yet when one looks back at the resent history of Israel, we see HaShem's hand at work. In the 6 day war, as well as every war fought to maintain Israels solvrinty, HaShem can be seen at work.

Jhn 12:29When the crowd heard the voice, some thought it was thunder, while others declared an angel had spoken to him.
Jhn 12:30Then Jesus told them, "The voice was for your benefit, not mine.
Jhn 12:31The time for judging this world has come, when Satan, the ruler of this world, will be cast out.

nations have been judged through out history. They rise and fall acording to their deeds. If we look at the USA, we can see this play out. You see when we as a nation stand beside Israel, we do well, when we turn our backs on Israel we falter. Just compare the last 20 years and it becomes clear. Or it should if we look at the world from the lens of sound Biblical teachings. So let's take a snapshot of this time in our history.
2001-2009, we didn't change much at all from the last 12 years. We also did little to make our stand with Israel seen.
2009- 2017 This nation fell both in our economy, and world standing. Inflation climbed, and the world seen us as little more than nothing.
2017 -2021 We seen a time of great recovery. prices dropped, our image improved, and we brought jobs back to this nation that had been seen as gone forever. We became energy independent for the first time in over 50 years.
If we can't see HaShem at work in this we simply arn't looking at the facts. We can go into detail on the things we seen, and how it works into the Word, however we are here to look at Yeshua not the USA.

Jhn 12:32And when I am lifted up from the earth, I will draw everyone to myself."
Jhn 12:33He said this to indicate how he was going to die.

Many think this is wrong, that Yeshua never said anything of how He would die. That is true if we only look at what we see, and think only in terms of how we think today. However there is debate on this, and it leads one to follow what they hope. Just as we see the people here doing.

Jhn 12:34The crowd responded, "We understood from Scripture that the Messiah would live forever. How can you say the Son of Man will die? Just who is this Son of Man, anyway?"

As we can see, they seem to have missed some rather impotent prophecy. Many of which do tell of Yeshua's death, in detail.

Jhn 12:35Jesus replied, "My light will shine for you just a little longer. Walk in the light while you can, so the darkness will not overtake you. Those who walk in the darkness cannot see where they are going.

We seen this same teaching in John chapter 8 as well in chapter 9.

Jhn 12:36Put your trust in the light while there is still time; then you will become children of the light."
After saying these things, Jesus went away and was hidden from them.

We know Yeshua had no reason to hide, and that he was bold in His teachings, life, and faith. Nothing was hidden that we needed to see. However as some of you may have seen, Yeshua gave them time to think about what He had said. Did they all come around and see the truth? We have no way of knowing. Yet His teachings are clearly not put into plain words. Why? as He said in Mat. 13:13. He used them because people didn't really see or hear what He said. Why teach a people that only see what they want, and hear what they hope?

‘an, Enemy sowed tares amongst the wheat. Let both grow together, until the harvest. Then the separation will be done truthfully.
also, as said, do not pull the tares, you could harm the wheat, wait until the harvest, Amen!
thank you Father and Son as Won (One)

‘no respect of persons from my daddy’s views, thank you. God loves us all, therefore through Son he reconciled us all ( 2 Cor. 5:17-20)
so, Be reconciled back. In thanksgiving and praise. Then ask God for the new life in the risen Son for you to walk new in and not of your first born self anymore, as got first taught by this world, that does not please God. Only Son did that in his finished work once for all, to either believe God or not, personally between God and you. Not your place of worship in pride over others, Luke 18:9-14

I read that and like I said HaShem doesn't have double standards. Mat. 5:45.
