Do you not differentiate between Catholic and Roman Catholic?

No because "roman" Catholic came only after the east west schism in the Catholic Church. Before that there was only the Catholic Church. If you read the early church fathers, who taught before the schism, they were Catholic. What roman Catholics believe today stems from that same history and tradition.

That explains a lot.

And that reply of yours explains that you can't address the issue. Before the schism there was one church. It was Catholic. If you don't like it I'm sorry but Im not inclined to appease you

There were Christian communities before the Schism. So you could say there were non-denominal "churches" before the Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox churches came to be - BOTH claiming to be the continuation from the apostles.

So who cares about that? We should tend to the churches we have now. A lot of them have become Ichabod.

I agree entirely but those titles came as a result of the schism. Reading the early church fathers shows a decidedly Catholic flavor. They weren't teaching sola fide or sola scriptura

God accepts those who are born again. If they believe different doctrines, it's no big deal. Obviously there are some doctrines that are fundamental. But there is much more that unites us than divides us.

Jesus is the Head of His church. The real church is His body. Jesus knows those who are His. We are all at different stages in our growth. I was adamant about some of my beliefs as a young Christian. I learned a lot, including that my understanding of God's Word can be wrong.

All that is not of Christ will be consumed some day. All that is of Christ will endure for eternity. May I suggest that before you get too deeply into judging others, you make sure that you are qualified to discern what is of Christ and what is not.

For example, once a month, I attend an Anglican church. I get on well with the pastor. I don't agree with all his doctrines. He does not agree with everything I say either. But he is alive in Christ. I used to go to a Baptist church. It's a lot bigger, but not very friendly. I've been to others where I live. I agree with their doctrines to a greater extent, but they are cold and unwelcoming. "The greatest of these is love". How we know that we have passed from death to life? When we love the brethren. God does not have a theological entrance exam to the kingdom of God. He has a spiritual heart monitor. Is your spiritual heart beating? You are accepted. If not, you need a new heart - no matter how accurate your doctrines.
Believe what you like

You keep saying that. I don't see what the big deal is about that and how that affects Christians now. I don't think the Catholic church now is any good - it might have been when it first came about - but not now, not anymore. A lot of people think that whoever is the pope at the time that the antichrist appears will be the false prophet. That could mean the current pope if it happens within a few years.

Does God accept contradictory practices and obediences on how to receive eternal life? On worship? On doctrine/teachings? Or does He call people to repentance who have erred or who have never rightly followed?

Lol the early church fathers were Catholic. They taught the real presence of Jesus in the Eucharist which is decidedly Catholic just like Paul did. Your hatred for the Catholic Church isn't a logical argument which is ironic given you accuse me of logical errors.
You just repeated the same logical error. The early church was catholic (universal) not Catholic (Roman).

My feelings about the Roman Catholic entity are tertiary to this particular discussion.

If you can’t discuss these matters respectfully, I will be happy to report you for Catholic proselytizing and wave goodbye. Your choice.

And once again "roman" is irrelevant as it oa distinction between the west and the East after 1054.

No they are at the center. In centuries leading up to 1054 and then the 1500s the Catholic Church did not teach sola fide or sola scriptura. It believed in the real presence in the Eucharist.

If you can't discuss these matters without facing facts then you do what you have to do but getting me banned doesn't change the facts. But your threat tells me what I need to know about you

Blindly irrelevant, especially since Catholics claim lineage to Peter as the bishop of Rome.

No they are at the center.
Wrong.

Yawn. Promotion of Roman Catholicism is not permitted here. Deal with it.

It's the only church that can.

I'm wrong because you say so. Lol

I'm not promoting anything. But you do what you need to do. Like I said this tell me what I need to know about you.

And after the Great Schism there is still one true catholic/worldwide church/body of Christ still consisting of all true believers
or Christian saints/saved sinners--not to be identified with any corrupt/imperfect physical human institution, whether RC, EO or SBC..

Maybe but Jesus said he would build HIS church on the rock of Peter. And Scripture and the early church father clarified what that church believes and what it doesn't include is things like the solas.

I will ask you a question, First let me admit I am not catholic and never ever ever will be,

there have been hundreds of popes, Christ told the 12 Apostles they will each be a King ruling over a tribe of Israel.

In the KJV, not the catholic written bible, what is the reward for the hundreds of popes and where are they even mentioned once?

In the Word of God what the catholic call "eucharist" is Passover,, and Jesus Christ IS OUR PASSOVER, not our easter or our eucharist.

I have no idea what that second blurb means.

First, when did the KJV first appear? Second every pope is subject to gods judgment just like you and me so you seems to have some perverted idea of the poles role

No it's not passover. It's a sacrament of grace, the source and summit of the Catholic church

No, the Greek in Matt. 16:16 requires the rock on which the church would be built to be faith, not Peter.

It gets very confusing with all the different religions and claims that this or that belief or ideas from various movements that they have the path that leads to God, so is it. When you hear a religious leader or teacher claim that all religions lead on a path to God, scripture is clear that is not the case. We find it in John 14...

John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Jesus declares that the only way to God is through Him.

All religions will lead you to God, but only a relationship with the risen Christ will keep you there🤔
