Only the immediate
only the surface deep
apparently superb
yet terribly superfluous
that’s all we share and want
Ah, that unanswerable question
that sometimes bounces off our ears
without ever going in
Why?
Is it a lack of comfort
at the face of things unknown?
Or perhaps our boredom
by everything that isn’t fun?
Or an utter rejection (I’m afraid)
of all that can't be touched?
The question is instantly dismissed
Dismissed by fear
it’s causing us unease
Dismissed by boredom
it’s wasting our valuable time
Dismissed by rationale
its existence is in nonexistence

Dismissed...

So many times
have I thought of so many ways
to express so many things
our ears could not possibly hear
at any given time
in any possible way

Unless...

Unless the channel is open
and a frequency established
by an Opetator who knows us all
The Operator knows our fears
our boredom, our pretentions
Only He can abridge dimensions
between the worlds utterly apart

Thank you. All praise to the Lord. If there is a slight bit of talent it’s all His merciful gift to me. I simply let it come out in hopes of touching other people in a positive way.
