It seems you noted 1:8 has the same wording bā’āretz re: Job as it does where Satan had been roaming around bā’āretz and walking bāh.

Job wasn't inside the earth but in the earth not in the sense of inside the earth but on the earth - and Satan was roaming around in the earth not in the sense of inside the earth but on the earth - and walking in the earth not in the sense of inside the earth but on the earth.

I think this is the reading and the connection to Job makes it make sense.

As I said, it doesn't mean there cannot be theories of what's going on inside the earth. I just don't think this is where I'd get it from.

For your conversations here, I might wonder what's going on under the earth as in Phil2:10 καταχθονίων, and what Hades is all about. There seemingly is a realm below where knees are yet to bow.

Just to be upfront with you, I don't desire to think about, talk about, or give any attention to satan and His activities. And i was able to do that for the better part of 30 years.

About 8 years ago, I was being forced by my conscious to look at this puzzle piece that nobody wanted to look at. The puzzle piece of this UAPs and technologies that are coming out.

But I can't in good conscious ignore what's happening and what's going to happen in the near future.

It's maybe worth noting, that the English word "revelation" is translated disclosure in the Greek.

So we have the earthly disclosure ( satan and his ET technologies) running head on into the revelation or disclosure of Christ. And we have a front row seat.

Whatever's going on, we're in interesting times. And, while not wanting to derail your thread any further, I think @Eli1 will agree that we have an admin in the US that seems to think that much of what's been classified should be declassified. This doesn't mean I think that all we be, or that misleading reasons could not remain, but in my time on the planet I've not seen such times as these. And the tech is truly something and I think those who pay at least some attention know that the versions we're seeing are not remotely the versions that already exist and are advancing exponentially on a graph going almost completely vertical. Even if they likely do keep many things under cover, this tech has and will have capacities even for us to be using to unveil certain things and possibilities we've never seen. Of course it'll be misused. This is the kosmos. I'm fascinated and not afraid but ready for departure and whatever He brings about. I may cry to Heaven like a child at some point(s) along the way, but hopefully just have a slap in the face and say like our Lord did, the Spirit is willing but the flesh is weak - nevertheless, Your will be done...

Not sure what you're speaking of exactly, but assuming disclosures of classified materials, I take everything with a grain of salt and only pay attention to it casually and periodically. I don't trust anything we're given and with all the chatter and theories for decades, we get things like the Kennedy assassination stuff or whatever and you'd think we'd get some type of bombshell information that would resolve something for the nation, but we get stuff and no ones even discussing it much after a brief time. IOW, it's more fascinating when we don't know and can speculate than it is once we get whatever we get.

It seems from Scripture that there will be at some point a great deception but, again, I don't think much about it. A long time ago I determined that if I pay close attention to Him, His Word, His Spirit and learn the Truth that He's teaching me, then I'll know when necessary what's not Him. There was a teaching I heard decades ago that paraphrased was 'eyes on Christ vs. eyes on men" and it fit into my eyes on truth I've tried to live by, which is part of what I took to seminary to learn languages so I could be as close to the Word with some of the learned skills we have available to us. It seemed to be my walk and His direction so I took it.

I don't know everyone's age here but I'm in my 70's and although the tech is escalating rapidly and I do think we could heading into a time of potentially great turmoil as in any massive change in culture, I'm not sure I'll be here for all or much of it. I set aside eschatology some time ago, had some views, watched all the hostilities among differing views and boiled my eschatology down at some point to standing at the Bema being evaluated and wanting to hear a 'well done'. Whatever's going to go on, He has a handle on it and I've never been led to focus on it. He has others to do whatever He wants done in other areas.

As you know, that's the issue with translations - they're all over the place and can be very inconsistent. My wife and I years ago undertook a translation into her home language of a brief book written in English. So it was the both of us reading in English, my first language and one of hers. When completed in whole or part we had her mother read it - a physics teacher with no English. Her response was that she understood it but found it very 'wooden.'

Translation is not as simple as some seem to think it is.

I only know mine at times because others insist on telling me at least once per year when they remind me it's a certain day on the calendar. Even then I don't recall at times and don't really care. Funny about the 40's. I was driving home from seminary one night - 9-10pm or so - fully immersed in Greek studies. Got pulled over on the freeway. The officer looked at my license and I guess as some type of test asked me my age. I honestly couldn't remember and told him something like 'I don't know, 43 or 44 or something like that'. His look was priceless, he shook his head, told me my tail-light wasn't working, told me to have a nice night and walked away. Such unimportant information to retain. Don't they know we have God's Word to fill our available storage?

IF we humans have mastered gravity-based flight AND if we are inside the vehicle AND perform the maneuvers that we see on these videos where our top aircraft can't keep up, then i would say it's a lie.
Because a biological system would be crushed with the equivalent force of being hit by a train, when we see the amount of G forces these devices pull in mid-air with their turns.
So, ANY biological system would die.

I've wondered about this for about 65 years. My dad was in the RAF, a chef. We were moved around like chess pieces, and one base was where top secret research was conducted. He overheard a conversation where anti gravity research was being discussed. It had apparently been solved. He was quite excited when he told us. However, he never mentioned it again.

It seems impossible. However, if the effects of gravity have been cancelled out, the problem of "g" forces would no longer apply. So carbon based lifeforms (sorry about that) would survive.

I am still extremely sceptical.

Whenever I come across a city that we understand is part of Israel, it's defined as "a region of Palestine.
