Difference between a crush and being in love?

In my estimation, fully knowing someone and loving someone are two different things.

Funny you asked... I've been thinking about this question for the past week and...
At the moment, I don't believe there's a such thing as "liking" someone. I believe that you love someone a little or a lot. Loving someone a little means you "like" that person... and loving someone a lot means your "in love."
I haven't found... "liking" someone in the scriptures but I believe I've read degrees of love.

Okay, I clicked "Like" on this, and then it said, 'You like this." Then I just stared at my computer.
I have heard it said that crushes are selfish and love is selfless. Some people say that crushes aren't based on reality and you are liking an illusion of the person that you have conjured up in your mind. I have also heard that crushes are infatuations without any devotion or depth.
What is your definition of these two things? How are they different? I know we will likely all have different opinions, but different opinions are what I am hoping to hear.
Being in love = attracted to that person, want to get to know that person better
Crush = must have that person or you will die

A crush is just another word for fancy, or you have real interest in someone, were you emotions to the crush is hyped up. A crush is another word to cover up that you fancy or like someone or something that they do, without telling them that you fancy them. its more leaning to your thought process of your brain, were your emotions play a huge part towards a crush.
A crush is just another word to say I like you a lot. but cant bring yourself to tell that person. so, you get your friend or someone you know or they know to have words on your behalf. A crush is a hyped up feeling for something or someone.
But you can have a crush on someone, but wouldn't have a relationship or marry that person, its just that your emotion for that person or what they are doing that you have this crush on about. its not a bad thing or good thing, its something you may want to watch and be careful about, same as flirting, to some, its a good thing, to some its bad. People say flirting is harmless, yet most of the time, you hear report of slits or break ups or even divorces over flirting.

I will update my post to say that love involves physical pain at some point or another.
My fiancé and I are sharing a lovely bout of flu that her dad got. Yay!
Almost worth it though.... I held her in my arms that day.
