Lighthearted error is error nonetheless.Uhhhh....why are you "correcting" lighthearted euphemisms?
Correcting erroneous statements is not "judgemental mutch".Judgemental mutch?

Every single action of Jesus was scripted....Lighthearted error is error nonetheless.

I'd suggest you read the bible for yourself.Ten pages gone by and I have yet to read one post giving scripture where Jesus drank wine. Did I miss something? Shouldn’t scripture give us the answer?
....duh! Where is your head?

I am one of the "hard core" Christian Zealots....I'm just not legalistic in any sense of the term. You really know how to make me smile, dear brother.![]()
Yep with the "Love Cup".Apparently your not familiar with the account of Jesus' last Passover meal, a.k.a., the last supper. He shared bot wine and bread (and lamb) with those in attendance. In fact, Jesus said to drink wine to remember Him.
Part of the reason that prompted this question is that Pastor Steven Anderson said that "oene" in the NT refers to non-alcoholic fruit juice.
I'd be interested in reading others' opinions.
Luke 1:15 For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother's womb.
John the Baptist could not drink wine or strong drink and he was preparing the way for Christ so of course Jesus would of not drank wine that was fermented.
Luke 7:34 The Son of man is come eating and drinking; and ye say, Behold a gluttonous man, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners!
Some people say this means Jesus drank wine but they only accused Him of it and Jesus was not a glutton.
Even there mere presence would have met that "criteria wouldn't it? As would their dying before or after himself?
Adding for others, there is a difference as we know between a Nazarine and a Nazarite.
Every single action of Jesus was scripted....
There was nothing He did that wasn't.
There are over 12,000 prophesy and allusions in the Old Testament covering his every action and maneuvers and people interaction.
Of course he didn't just blindly grab anything on his way....duh!
Where is your head?
The world's going to hell in a handbasket, and we're arguing about whether Jesus drank wine or grape juice!
Are you aware how the Canon of scripture we do have came to be?"Everthing Jesus did was scripted"?!! If that were true, the Bible would be much larger book.
Somewhere, it even says that if everything Jesus did was recorded, there wouldn't be enough room - or something like that.
Jesus made somewhere between 120-150 gallons of wine that day. And not just any ole wine, but delicious tasting wine.Remember the first miracle of Jesus, turning water into wine at a wedding in Cana...... Jesus humself must have drunk a little bit of wine himself, i think it would have been an affront in these days not to have to.
Everything you need to know you have in the words of Christ throughout the bible, your most valuable source of info. Blessings

at Cana they got merry. I am certain our Lord was never drunk.Part of the reason that prompted this question is that Pastor Steven Anderson said that "oene" in the NT refers to non-alcoholic fruit juice.

John the Baptist was called by Jesus "the greatest to have lived, to date, under the law" (paraphrasing). But Jesus didn't live under the law.Luke 1:15 For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother's womb.

Well, you know what they say. Happy wine happy life. Or something like that.Jesus made somewhere between 120-150 gallons of wine that day. And not just any ole wine, but delicious tasting wine.![]()

I thought it would be obvious that He drank wine, not that it's an issue. I also assume He took bathroom breaks. But if you want to split hairs, go ahead. No wonder why there are 45,000 denominations.I have, dozens of times all the way through. I was simply stating the point that no one has submitted scripture stating Jesus drank wine.
I'm very familiar with the passages. Why would you say this? All I was stating is that no one in this entire thread has posted any scripture stating the facts. That's all. I wasn't saying he did or didn't.
