Yams are the root (giddit?!) of all nastiness.

I actually think yams restore my faith in potatoes. But not sweet potatoes. Those are just unnatural.

I think I have a lot of issues today.
 
So tomorrow I'm heading a little ways out of town to teach at a music camp put on by Salvation Army. One of my several classes is beginner piano, and I mentioned in passing to my dad that I planned on introducing them to some fundamentals. He then went off (in his usual fashion) on his version of how he would teach "piano 101".

its oficial. Forget finishing my music degree. I'm living with the master of music teaching and that's all I need to know.
 
I took off...I was trying to take a nap, but SOMEbody, somewhere in this tiny town, is making a heck of a racket. It's like the world's noisiest hammer, or something. It's echoing off of everything.

Wow, great to hear, Cristen! Okay, I'm leaving for real now. Hope everyone stays blessed (hmm, I don't usually say that, but it was on my mind just now).
 
Ooh, the fire grew to 65 acres yesterday because of insane wind, but is contained.

I think it's lunch time.
