Yeah, I know it isn't real fast. It's cooler than anything I've seen at a church though. I want to go to your old church then. People who think that you can't praise God with fast music just don't enjoy fast music. They seem to forget that the way traditional music is, it is shaped to their comfort level. Well my comfort level is elevated so yeah. I have dreamt of punk rock praise and worship. Or Metal or a mix of all kinds of just exciting rock'n songs.

I'm sure the church does. I dunno..I don't have one single thing from my church days..nadda..nothing from the metal bands I was in no recordings at all...I know old friends that have stuff..even stuff of my playing out and jamming in my parents basement,at friends houses...but I have none of it....btw..I had to get a new PW for skype..my old one wouldn't work...refresh my memory how do I add you or look for you? are you just going my your real name?
 
Ken might have an old cassette of the last crappy christian band UGH..I was in...what a hot mess that was..playing music I had no passion for & submitting to a guy who should have never joined the original line-up...such a waste of time. Kenprob doesn't have it..matter of fact I think my Mom gave me one of her cassettes she had of us & I threw it out.LOL
 
Yeah, I hear you. I'm like that reversed. I'm losing all of my secular bands stuff. Don't really care though.
 
I'm not a metal head (and I probably wouldn't be able to take it that far at my church if I was), but I hear you about up tempo music, DED (hope you don't mind the abbreviation). I'm very thankful for a church that allows me to mix it up a little. I'm not going to a funeral this morning. I'm going to praise my living Lord! :)

It helps that my Pastor is also an excellent drummer. :)

Yes, that does help I think. Your Pastor can appreciate that side of it. And I'm not going to a funeral either sister. I'm so glad. Life was a funeral before Christ.

Where I come from "metal heads" are about much harder stuff. I am a classic rocker though. :)
