There were many times I've said the same thing Aimee,so I am totally down with what yer' feeling. I think the thing to remember is that while it may be a fact that christians are pretty stinkin' cruel to one another many times,the TRUTH is that we have Jesus,and we can forgive & repent & move on. People in the world who are unbelievers don't have this option. Let's face it,Jesus told many people in the bible..many of them that were followers of his as well as followers of the Law in the old testament about how they needed to watch what came out of their mouths,how they should love one another & not act like a judge & jury...to examine their own hearts & focus on God,not pick apart their brothers & sisters. So much more the reason we need to renew our minds in how we view one another & what we say to a brother or sister. It always hurts worse when "family" hurt you..it's much more personal. I have to continually give over any bitterness I have to God,because if I don't...man...that takes root in me sooooo easily...the deeper it grows..the harder it is to rip out. Anyways...enough of my rambling. I just want you to know Aimee,that you personally bless me & I think yer' pretty awesome. I totally see Christ in you & if other people don't...pffft it's their loss. God will deal with them. :)

It is from the band Living Sacrifice. They used to use it more back in the old days,not so much now. As I'm sure you could guess...they are on the "Heavier" side of christian music. :cool:

LOL! I agree, Estrella. I watch those things sometimes when I'm channel surfing and think, "DUDE! RUN!!!!" :) Then again, what if the grooms are worse???!! :)
 
This...is my chair. MINE. It is conveniently surrounded by books, located next to a north-facing window (to let in light, but not TOO MUCH light), and easily accessible for those days when all I am able to do is shuffle tiredly from the coffee pot to my corner. On most days, my chair also contains plastic railroad tracks, magnetic letters and numbers, baby blankets that smell suspiciously of spit up, and often, a small child or two. Oh, and me. Because it's MY chair. Despite the paint splatter across the bottom, and the fraying where 5 different cats have clawed at it, and the fact that it's pleather, and black, it's my cave I can retreat into, and even if the wild hyenas follow me in, at least I'm super comfy.

I know a lot of women who would pay a lot of money to find out the secret of how to lose their buns as frequently as you do...

Also, I totally nap in this chair.

lolz..maybe I should write a self improvement book or something. I could be the next Richard Simmons,but not gay & not having a fro...ummm or tiny pink glittery shorts...or lots of chest hair..or..well..meh..maybe not.

That is definitely a chair that I'd nap my buns off in myself. lol


Cozy chairs are amazing. My parents used to have a chair just like that, but then it broke cause my brother would always jump over the back part and plop himself on the seat part... after years of that it finally gave out. :(
 
I would totally behave myself in that chair...no jumping...just buns a resting.LOL
 
I wish I could "double like" the chair pic because of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy on the shelf.

Dude I SO saw that last night & almost said.."Ohhhh Douglas Adams,eh?" and then I thought maybe that would sound creepy because the focus of the pic & post was her chair & I shouldn't be spying on what's in the rest of her home. LOL
