LOL Aimeeekins. I should say that the last 3 or so weeks have been other reasons I've been on moreso that in the past...but that's 'cause I'm giddy like a school girl over this one particular woman. lolz I know Aimee...too bad none of us live closer,we'd either all have a blast or end up killing each other by the night's end.LOL

It amazes me how some things still hurt while others don't at all.


I think I'm going to get my hair cut today. I really want to get it colored. My paycheck was a lot more than I was expecting, so I'm wondering if I should splurge. What do y'all think?

Firstly..what hurts? and second...shure...splurge why not. What color are ya thinkin'?

You know what sucks too is going out to the store or to get something to eat on a friday or saturday night and seeing all the people having a good time with their friends and cars driving extra fast with their radios blaring because maybe they're late for a date or they're just psyched that its a friday/saturday night... and knowing that you're now past all that. :(

I'm almost forty. I've had so many nights of partying it up with people who aren't fit to be at the bottom of the shoes of the people I like on here. Generally really evil people doing everything in excess. I was one of them thank the Lord for saving me from myself. I will say that good believers in Christ who you jive with on a social level can be hard to find. Take a site where there are thousands of them and what you have are a few who get together here and banter back and forth. So out of thousands you have a pretty awesome group. Not that they are not all awesome. People just click together based on common personality traits or traits they like. All I'm saying is that I have a better time with ya'll on here than any old Friday or Saturday night with my old crew. My b.c. crew. And in an environment of my home where I can still leave for a bit and come back when it's convenient. Still interact with my family. So I dig it.
 
Memories hurt. That's all. No biggie.


Last summer I did Caramel highlights. But I'm thinking maybe something with a red tone to it.
 
manic panic pillar box red! Do it! lol. I like checks that are more than I expect it's the ones that are lower then I expect...well I like them too. I'm grateful, thank you Lord for all you provide.
 
I can't do anything too wild because of work. But! My hair has been red, blue, purple, green, teal, and pink. Not at the same time, though. :)
 
I've done red, blue and purple back in the day but now I have no hair. I keep it short, but if were doing each others hair someone can braid my beard. lol.
 
I understand fully Aimee. I was a nurse for many years. I had it pretty easy though because I was a psych nurse and I worked for the state in a state hospital setting where I got to wear casual clothes.
 
Gentlemen, I'm going to see if I can sleep for another couple hours before I begin my adventures for today. I truly do enjoy your company. And Rosie's too! And MissCris! And other people too. But if I start naming people I'll be here for a while.

I have a psych background, so I've considered becoming a psych nurse. But after I have my RN, I think I'm going to work in peds or the ER. That's my plan anyway.
 
That is awesome. As you probably know, living in Cali as you do. There are psych techs. Basically LVN epuivalent with psych training. We are the dudes who are called out to the scene when someone is flipped out in their home or on the street and we give a psychiatric evaluation. That is what I was. Now I live in Oklahoma and they do not recognize my license here. I worked with forensic clients and it is a hard job basically working with hard criminals who are being held in a "hospital setting" because they can not stand trial due to their mental illness. It's just like a prison only you get the brunt of all physical attacks. I think pediatrics would be awesome.
