You know, it depends on what are you trying to fit into. There is quite a few cases in scripture where God's chosen person didn't fit in at all. Many of the prophets and Joseph in the OT had issues fitting in but it was for the good.
Now obviously im not saying to divide from church or quit trying but I'm saying that God may have a purpose for the uncomfortable feeling that you so far have felt. It could be His way of taking you where He needs you to go. Also remember where 2 or 3 are gathered is being the church. Don't give up but also keep God's purpose in mind. He may not want you to fit in. He may need a David, a Moses, or a Peter. Remember it is ultimately God whom we serve and if that separates us, then so be it. A true Christ-centered church would be loving, inviting, and trying to plug you in. Remember that.
