Hi
Generally I waned to ask you Have you ever got the feeling that your life is a failure? That no matter what you do it all goes wrong? And some close people were thinking of you as a fail?

I have a problem like this currently Always trying to satisfy my mother but I always screw up something I used to study computer science (mostly because she advised me to do this) but I abandoned those studies. I plan to start studies again but this time it would be Law My mother says it is pointless. One Law is very hard and so I will likely fail Second I am 24 years old most of my friends got higher education and a MA degree She thinks I should get a job and forget about studying

Do you have any idea how to fight the overwhelming feel of being miserable?

Remember that God has a plan for you. Search your heart for any clues to what it is you want to do to serve God here on earth. It can be anything, whats important is that it is what YOU feel passionate about, not your mother or anyone else. God's plan is always to prosper us and not to hurt us. We need not fear the future because He is always with us and will strengthen us and help us along the way.

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. - Jeremiah 29:11

So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
- Isaiah 41:10

Does your mother think of you as a failure? If so she is wrong.
It's not because she is your mother than you have to feel bad if she thinks you are a failure.

Try to make her understand that effort is more important than results,
and that it is not your fault that society has become this hard to survive.

Law is difficult, so unless you are sure you can succeed,
you should probably try something less difficult that still interests you.

About your depression and feeling of pressure,
just pray to be born again ;)

Oh, I feel like a idiot around certain people also my mother. When someone is around her mostly she acts out that I can't do anything. You may think this is just something I did but it hurt to the core! Then I have brothers and sisters who think I can't comprehend anything and remember so I think they might not trust me. They are happy around eachother but when I come around they have change of face....it Hurts! These people I see about everyday and be with about everyday.....it's like these are the people around you. But I am not depressed, I try to be above ground. Jesus is what get my gears to keep function. There is no greater love than what Jesus supports. God knows my blueprint and it isn't perfect but at least He accepts me the way I am.

I just had a cousin kill his friend last night. I think he was depressed because he had a child. He is a year older than me. He just ruin his life, he might be charged as an adult. He had trouble in the past with the judge but now what will the judge say? He won't now see his little daughter grow up if he is put away. He might not even see the light of day.

Don't feel down, devil want you to blame God. Devil want people to ki themselves so they won't go to heaven. He wants to push us off the edge. But in Jesus my strong hold, God keeps you from danger. Trust that he can do anything.

Stop worrying of what others think of you. Do what you want to do. It's that simple and you'll probably be much happier.

Hey God didn't make any failures. We are all created in his image and likeness. Greater is he that is in you than he that is in this whole world. My suggestion to you would be what do you want to do. Pray to God about your gift or talent. Be encouraged Much love .

Thank you My friends also try to encourage me However there is more to this than meets the eye
If I can pull myself together I think I manage to study Law. Recently I had an argument with my mother and it is then when she said I am a failure and so there is no point in taking any studies

The fact is that I had a bit difficult time when I was a kid Due to my epilepsy I closed myself for everyone When I turned 18 I didnt know what I want to do in life so I started studying computer science Mother advised it because such people would not have trouble finding a job

God's plan? I bet He has one for me But I dont know how to find out what is it. I am going on a pilgrimage on friday I will pray so I can see The Way

Good for you my friend. May you always seek God in throughout any decision you make. Remain in Him and He will remain in you and help you to succeed! One thing I have noticed is people are starting to use the term fail more and more often (at least where I live) and I agree with you that it does bring me down. The fact that someone else says I fail, as if I could never succeed in my endeavor, is very disheartening. Your mother seems very controlling but I don't have enough information to form an accurate opinion of her. Just keep seeking God and know that you will never fail as long as you rely on God to be your strength. I've found when someone tells me I fail to ignore the dig and try again. It's tough to do but I've grown to where I dont worry about those ppl who may judge me on my success. Stay strong brother.

GOD WANTS YOU TO KNOW … THAT THE ONLY OPINION OF YOU THAT IS IMPORTANT, IS GOD’S.
Focus on living your life, and let the opinions of others be what they are.

seek him, thats the most important thing

True failure is when you give up. If you haven't given up, your just growing closer to your future career that God will give you. Pray about this and listen to what God has to say. Don't let your mother discourage you, do what YOU want to do. I am kind of in a similar situation. My parents would much rather me go into computer science because it's a 'safe' career. But I want to go into law enforcement, because I feel that's what's I'm meant to do. I'm not letting my parents stop me no matter how hard they try to persuade me to stay away from law enforcement. My spiritual gift is service, and being a police officer would fit my spiritual gift.

I am trying to stay strong
My friends from our community help me and pray for me
As I said in my testimony about finding a community every meeting is like a battery recharge

Hi Paul

One way to help yourself is to make a conscious effort to discover and identify your strengths, gifts and interest in you. When God made us, He also put His gifts in us. Some of us are strong in IT, accounting, engineering, publishing etc. How about yours?

Another way to look is to discover your temperaments. In fact, our temperaments confirm our strength in our secular job skills. There are many on the Net; here's one: https://timlahaye.com/shopdisplayproducts.asp?id=22&cat=TEMPERAMENT

And when you found yours, walk in faith and pursue it. Do not be afraid of mistakes and God is always with us throughout this journey. After all, it is His gifts and strengths that we are finding.
