We are talking about the our Father that said

"A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump."

"Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter?"

Then when a demon is cast out of a person it say the unclean spirit

When we become Christians is says we are we are clean.

I wish to make a few points about my above post perfectly clear.
The Work Is Of, For, and By Jesus Power For HIS GLORY.

1) I am a born again Spirit Filled, Baptized, Fellowship Church member
of a local body.
2) I am not trying to convince anyone here of anything, nor am I looking
to promote an agenda.
3) I have been through personal deliverance session as a 25 year christian
because I had a demon in me.
4) Every member of the team I am part of has been through personal deliverance
session.

I do not presuppose to know any slight measure of the Spiritual Realms depths.

However I testify before All here, and the cloud of witnesses these statements
are true.

Same goes for you. You have no evidence that a demon can INDWELL a believer.

Every person on this thread that thinks a demon can, uses their own experience and experiences. EMOTIONS.

We are sealed. We are indwelt by the Spirit. We are IN Christ. We are NEW creations and the old is gone. We are seated with Him.

The devil and demons get way too much credit in todays Christianity.

If demons can indwell believers.....Jesus Christ can be indwelt by demons. Because we(believers) are like Him.

Amazing how most believers don't have a true grasp on what He did for us at salvation.

Although not expressly described, it would be reasonable to believe that he influenced or moved Jobs friends to bring him down as well.

Having experienced multiple tragedies and severe traumatic experiences last year, I can attest that Job went through even more; but easily could have died from the stress, depression, PTSD, and despair.

For all of those attacks, Satan never indwelt this believer, Job.

And we all know, If satan or whatever his name is, could indwell a believer........That is the FIRST thing he would have done!

Like @CS1 there is a big difference between outside oppression and inward dwelling.

As well, how do we know that the person who "supposedly" indwelt by a demon was born again.
There are many posers these days and they know all the right words and actions.

I cannot believe for one nano-second that God is so impotent to not be able to protect His children from demonic possession.

I think the OP who was here and left, and left, and left again, tried to differentiate demonic indwelling and demonic possession, I find that to be false dichotomy.

Agreed. He/she seems to be having fun at the people's expense by saying things that seem correct at times & then makes no sense & gets likes for nonsense.
The only thing he seems to be showing us is who's to poor to pay attention. :rolleyes:

At the moment of salvation we were all delivered. The difference? Some of us figure it out right quick. And others take months or years.

You were delivered the moment you believed in Christ. And that should be the face palm. We didn't have to go through all of these "demons".......He delivered me wwwaaaaayyyyyyyy back then.

Exactly! Being saved means there's a noticabke change in them. We receive a new heart Christians can say they are saved but really aren't those and those are the people that can have have demons cast out of them.

Biblically,there is nothing in Scripture that says a believer cannot be possessed. Nothing.

There are Biblical accounts of people who are possessed.

Jesus cast out demons from a Jewish young man,as many know.

That we are told Satan can by his own will enter Heaven, should inform readers he is also able to enter people. Because both are the habitat of the holy Spirit.

A house divided.

There is NOTHING is scripture that says a believer can be indwelt by a demon. A rudimentary reading of the Scripture tells the believer that a house divided does not stand. YOU AND I are His house....Sealed, indwelt, new creation, conquerors, ambassadors.......With a FOREVER advocate. Seated with Him. Not to mention all the other Grace gifts He gave us the moment of salvation.

Hard to not say this........We can be oppressed by demon influence, and the demon would LOVE to make us think we can be possessed by them.....they win.

keep in mind, just because we are saved doesn't mean the devil is going to stop tempting. also, important to note, when we are sleeping we can ben most vulnerable to attacks.

When a person is interpetering the bible do you not consider the nature of God?

The bible say that one that does not have the hs will not understand it.

It always amazes me what people that do not can interpret in the bible. If it doesn't fit with one verse it doest fit with the whole bible.

God, “Your eyes are too pure to look on evil” (Habakkuk 1:13)

He has the devil and the doves which I think refers to angels tell him of our sins on earth.

This doesn't mean the Devil considers his minions to be brothers. There is no love in him to do so.

Neither can the devil force his will/presence in heaven God allows him in.

No Scripture says Satan cannot enter our fleshly abode.

Satan, Prince of the Demons can enter the abode of God but not the weak mortal flesh of mortals God's Spirit inhabits?
If the Spirits presence within us made us perfect we could never disappoint God within by our actions. Because where we go and all that we do,he is there also.

Satan put the thorn, a messenger of Satan, into the flesh of Apostle Paul. 2 Corinthians 12.
Paul,said to be the greatest among the Apostles of Christ.
