Deception in the church

This is why its good to have a relationship with Jesus, and must study the word, day and knight, and believe in the hole word of God, from genesis to revelation, and get involved in a spirit fill church,

when I was a young in the faith, when I gave my self to Jesus, I went church hooping, I went to at least 7 churchs, and It just did not feel right, so one day I prayed and just ask God wares your church, my phone rang, was the wrong number, but the person invited me to there church and they were having a pasters conference, when I herd one of the sermons I SAID to my self how does he know my problem's, I new no one there, it was God, then I new, this is the church for me, so I would say just pray ask God, he will help you,

The same thing happened to me. I was trying to find a middle-ground congregation that suited my wife's Catholic upbringing and my evangelical roots on the whole. We visited several churches but didn't make a connection.

Finally, it was like "duh", ask God where He would like us to be. I prayed and a week later I was introduced to a couple of great guys who invited us to their congregation. My wife and I enjoyed 10 great years at that on-fire church!

Yes, I also had an experience like this. I walked out of my home one Sunday morning about 8am, I was looking for a church to meet with and at each intersection I would pray. It was like a geiger counter going off inside and so I kept following the anointing for about two miles then I suddenly turned left, crossed the four lane road and went down a one way street. I saw a man come out of an apartment building carrying a bible so I did a 180 and followed him walk up the hill and into a church that I stayed at for 20 years.

Church.. I remember we had been in Colorado for a little while (Mom asked for help so we moved there). I remember just talking to the lord "remember when that pastor came to our door (yeah whens the last time that happened to you lol)? I said " it would be nice if that happened again since we really don't know where to go". I think a week later but one night we get this knock on the door and this older man asked if so and so was here. I said "sorry I think you have the wrong house". He said sorry and turned to walk away then stops and I can just hear him say "no the lord would not have me go to the wrong house for no reason". Comes back hands me this card. Hes a preacher and believes the whole word of God.

Just that...he never knew what I asked the lord and makes me wonder how many times do we think were at the wrong place when God put us there for a reason. We went one time to see this preacher (some would make fun of) but what I will never ever forget is the moment I walked into that Church I was home. I have never in my life had that feeling in any Church. That was awesome.. haha I can go to our house are home yet nothing has made me feel "this is home".

I know that the Bible talks about how many false prophets will arise in the end times and how satan deceives the word through his sorceries (pharmakeia) but have you noticed a very sharp spike in deception (especially in churches) in the last couple of years? Thank God for discernment and His grace is enough to ensure that true believers are not deceived but it seems like it's getting so much harder to distinguish the sheep from the wolves. Satan is so so crafty these days and it seems like a lot of the church have fallen victim to his schemes. I don't wanna be too specific and point the finger at particular ministries but I am noticing that a lot of new age has crept into the church and it's alarming to say the least. And don't get me started on the state of Christian music these days (just take a look at the "Christian" artists that performed at the Grammy's this year). It's so sad to see what the church looks like. Asleep and deceived. I know that there's a remnant of true believers out there and thank God for that but it seems like the "church" as a whole has been infiltrated. It makes finding a biblically sound local church very difficult.

HELLO FLOWERPOWER YES, MY CHRUCH, we are in revival, the holy spirit was all over our children, for a long time. we believe in Jesus we believe the hole word of God, from genesis to revelation ,you don't pick and chose what you want to believe we believe in the hole bible, and theres no smoke machines or dark lighting, just good holy ghost, bible talking, praise and worshiping loving Jesus church, eagle mountain international church, we are on line, pray about it , and do what the holy spirit tells you to do, always go to Jesus first, I always say;,,,if you need prayer call 817 252 2900, take care and God bless you,
