It’s November, right? And honestly, some people seem fine with how their year has gone. They look content, even excited, but when you look back from January till now, it’s not that you’re ungrateful. Far from it. You thank God every day, still, there’s this quiet ache inside you.You just wish certain things had turned out differently.
Some goals are still sitting on a piece of paper.
Some dreams are still dreams because the money you needed didn’t show up.
Some desires in your heart haven’t happened yet because the right opportunities never came your way, and sometimes, you find yourself whispering,
“God, will things ever get better than this?”
You sigh, not out of ingratitude, but out of exhaustion.
You’re waiting, hoping, trusting that things will shift somehow, but it’s November, and life feels still, almost like you’re moving, yet nothing is really moving for you.
You’re tired. You’re losing the little strength you’ve been using to hold yourself together, and somewhere deep down, you’re even wondering if God is looking at you as someone who is not serious enough.
Dear You,
I get it. Truly, I do.
It’s November, but it’s not the end of the world. Even if it gets to December and things still feel slow, confusing, or empty, drowning in frustration won’t change anything. I’m learning that too.
But what if, instead of sinking into that heaviness, you gently start again?
What if you place your life back in God’s hands intentionally?
What if you take diligence seriously again?
What if you sit down, restrategise, plan again, pray again, believe again, even when it feels hard?
God is not tired of you. He is still working, still aligning things, still preparing you, still opening doors you haven’t even imagined yet.
The year is not over, and even if some things don’t happen this year, remember this: God is not restricted to a calendar.
Your story is still unfolding.
Your time is not past.
God is moving in ways you can’t yet see.
So...
Try again.
Hope again.
Dream again.
Because even in November, God can still surprise you.
