I don't get crushes...I try not to.
But I do like this guy. I know I'm not as pretty as I'd like to be. Like, I don't think I'm ugly, but I don't think I'm pretty...he likes pretty girls. So I think that's the only thing that stops me from coming up to him and sasying, "Let's hang," or "I like you."

He likes those pretty girls, and sadly, I'm only average lol.
But I don't think I'm UGLY, but I don't think I'm pretty either. You know what I mean? It's confusing haha.
 
something I've learned (I really believe God has really been drilling this into my head) is that if a guy only likes you because of the way you look, or he doesn't like you because of the way you look, he is most likely not someone that you should go for. I hate it when the FIRST thing guys (or girls really) look for is outward apperance.. and it applies to more than just dating. That's why I'd like to be good friends first :)

As for me... I had a really big, um, I guess you could call it crush on someone for a pretty long time.. but recently didn't turn out quite how I had originally wanted it. It's a long story but in a way.. I'm kind of glad.. cause I'm not really ready to have more than a friendship with someone yet. I really need to become more stable in my own life before it's involved that much with someone else

A man who is grounded in the Word, lays superficial qualities aside for the eternal qualities that matter most. Does he prioritize appearance over the things of the woman's heart?

If a guy prioritizes your looks over what you are in the heart, then he is not the one for you. God bless=)
 
yeaaa for sure i mean i have had dreams and stuff and revelations about this one girl and i know that we are going to be together on one circumstance. if we do things the way God wants! its His timing and His will for everything...our dreams can get chased away from us like that. We can be meant for somebody that it didnt work out with before, but maybe we did do something wrong in that relationship that God didnt want. any small thing can set that off. just my thoughts! i have had revelations that after summer this girl and i will be together but if thats how God wants it, and thats the only option. or i might as well forget about it! idk what the point of me even writing that was haha. blesssssssings to everybodyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy! :) :) :)
 
yeah well i was just reading the post and stuff and it took me forever to get to the end! haha i was like this is the longest thread i have ever actually read! LOL but yeah crushes are not a big thing for me. They come and go! I think thats just the way God made us. I do know when i do date someone from the first time that I will def be praying to make sure it is the will of God and if it isnt that the relationship would end. But as of now i realized that i would rather make God the one i turn to at this point in my life and trust in him when the timing is right and when he feels that im ready that he will bring along an awesome Guy for me! I mean being friends is def what will come first! :)
 
ok so i like this guy at church a lot and like we r friends hes seen me bawl my eyes out and kinda freaked out a lil so left me and got one of our friends to come look after me we agrue over stupid things so,etimes u should hear us we have argued about cleaning cupboards. and then other times we are soooooo nice to each other we had such a nice convo on friday for like 30mins in his office, we work together, he is so nice but i dunno i dont think he likes me. i prayed about it the other day and was just like God just be in it if its from you if not lets just be good friends but i dunno im so confused over the whole entire thing!!!

wot sucks even more is my friends are getting married one couple are already married and they are like 2 years older than me and im like COME ON makes me just wanna settle down and have kids soon. i want to be married and have like one kid by the time im 25 and im 20 this year kinda starting to panic. :|
 
I havent had a real harcore crush in awhile.
I mostly just think 'oh that guy is nice.' or 'oh that guy is cute.' and it ends at that.
i mostly wind up being friends with guys, but i dont mind at all! I love making friends! ^_^
 
yeah goth4god that happens to me too.
then sometimes i end up liking one guy because they are more just cute or just nice
 
l like someone but i wouldnt call it a crush but i guess you could. lol so undecided on it but he lives in a dif country and doesnt know so shhhhh

yeah i never thought about it not being a crush.... i guess mine isn't either....

i am good friends with him so i don't think you can call it a crush when you are good friends with them

I'm the same way. There was this guy I met recently. he was a really sweet guy, but he wanted something more permanamt than I did. I wanted him as a friend first, then maybe something would develope, but he wanted to jump into a relationship. Needless to say, things didn't end well. I'd rther have a guy as my friend first, cus if a relationship doesn't work for us, then at least I still have him as a freind and that's ok with me. If it's supposed to happen, it'll happen. God has His timing.
 
I kinda like this one guy. I thought i was over him but then i talk to him and realize i like him! lol but I'm not gonna do anything about it cuz I dont think I'm ready for a relationship yet, and he lives a good distance away. so for now he is just an awesome friend! ^_^
 
Crushes are inevitable, but usually with people i'll never be with. Ouch.
