What causes a day to go by? THE EARTH ROTATING.....

Joshua....The sun and Moon standing still in the heaven for about a DAY

Isaiah.....The SUN going back 10 degrees ON THE DIAL

GEESH....do you read or study the bible!?!?!?

The day goes by when the Sun travels in his circuit like the Bible says. The Earth does not move just like the Bible says.

Yes, you are correct in Joshua says the Sun and the Moon stood still.

Yes, Isaiah said the Sun moved backwards 10 degrees.

Yes I read the Bible and study it. That's how I know what it says.

Psalm 19:1-6

1 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.

2 Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.

3 There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.

4 Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,

5 Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.

6 His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.

No actually it says that Joshua spoke to the LORD .Joshua, himself, couldn´t do this

Yup Joshua spoke to the Lord in the sight of the children of Israel and said "Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Aijalon."

And the Sun and the Moon stood still.

May I ask a question....when this sort of thing happens again, (the reverse that is, in that the day will not be extended, but the night will) what will the argument be?

GOD can do whatever HE wants to accomplish THE PURPOSE...and the purpose was that there be more daylight for Joshua in the battle
