Here since it occurs to me that the FOX livestream is of really poor quality actually since it was live and you can't hear Trump so well here is a better repost of the entire Al Smith Dinner Roast as well as a little pre-show by another podcaster that if ya'll like DeVory you might like Barry, he is really good and been around for a while though his audience is more niche and old school, but you guys might find interesting, he's a bit older too so more of ya'll generation. The quality of the broadcast though is far superior and improved, gotta criticize FOX a lil fairly, since this has been like their week to handle the campaigns among the mainstreamers, but man they gotta invest in some new equipment.

He talked about God delivering him from being assassinated, but this was a Catholic gathering, I don't know why he couldn't have mentioned Jesus saving him, but still it does seem to mean he understands that he has a calling with God.

Even though it is hosted by the Catholics, notably the cardian Dolan, the highest ranked priest in America, it's not totally a Catholic event. The dinner has been around for decades now and is part of the tradition of American democracy. As noted many jews in attendance as well. It's essentially all the most powerful people in New York City really. Indeed it is incredibly a bad look for Kamala to skip the dinner, I think it's more damaging that the meltdown on FOX because really the crowd trends towards favoring the democrats, so it's like not only does she look weak by avoiding the roast, but really it's kind of a big insult against her own base. Trump showed up to look strong both for going to a hostile platform and undergoing the roast for the sake of the democracy, but also you notice through the roasting he does that Trump is the only real pathway to a sort of bipartisan reunification of the partisan divide in the country despite the democrats fantasies about him as Hitler.

Also shout out to Jim Gaffigan actually, I never really liked him before, but dang, he filled the role of this dinner's court jester like amazingly. He captures the election as a whole pretty spot on, and that's notable cause he's a pretty liberal guy and celebrity. Again besides just being an advantage to be at the dinner, really it's a missed opportunity for Kamala, it could have been able to have a favorable event and platform, an informal debate which supposedly she seeks another debate, and one with the venue and hosts that have more of a lean towards het. Instead it's not the hero they wanted, but the hero they deserved that showed up for them all left and right, Donald Trump.

The Donald is very open about his support for in vitro fertilization (IVF). He's very proud of getting Roe v. Wade overturned, but I wonder if he realizes that IVF murders the unborn as well. When an IVF procedure is performed, many eggs are fertilized; the ones that end up not being needed are destroyed. If life begins at conception, millions of unborn babies are murdered by this. Seems like he wants to have his cake and eat it too.

Thanks for giving me something to look into. I'm a bit ignorant on the process of IVF. If this is true, how can any Christian be for IVF?

I think the thought of most Christians about IVF is that if people have a problem outlawing abortion at 9 months there is absolutely no way you will get them to outlaw IVF. If abortionists describe a fetus as a clump of cells you can be sure they will describe an egg whether fertilized or not as a single cell or a couple of cells.

This is true of secular US, but it's not just about "outlawing" IVF. I'm surprised Christians aren't raging at Trump for championing mass abortion, which is the descriptor I'd use IF it's true they abort a multitude of fertilized eggs, aka human beings, during the IVF process.

I think this is even worse because IVF gives the illusion it's "pro-birth", which is technically true for one child... but at the expense of how many aborted children (fertilized eggs)?

I think you are confusing MAGA with true Christians. Our position on this earth is as ambassadors. You would never see the ambassador in a country raging about a political campaign. Our message is that Jesus is Lord and any human government that doesn't have Jesus is doomed to failure. That is what 666 means, it is two thirds of the trinity.

And even if it does mean that, God in Christ has already accomplished all that is necessary for it to be so.
Matthew 15:6b Thus you nullify the word of God for the sake of your tradition.

Hardly. You just don't understand what was accomplished at the cross. If everything necessary wasn't accomplished there, wouldn't Jesus have to return to it?

Oh it be true, unfortunately. The unused embryos are frozen and then thawed when they're needed; but many don't survive this thawing. So there's that. Many are simply destroyed. The frozen embryos that aren't destroyed are left in an indefinite state of limbo.

Back when W. was either running or in the White House, frozen embryos were in the news a lot because they were being used in stem cell research. He either supported it or was against it, I can't remember. Now I think they simply create embryos specifically for this purpose.

I think it is a reasonable conclusion that one of us truly does not understand, especially the Lord's word

Matthew 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

BTW has heaven and earth passed away?

Yes. That's what I have been explaining all along. Heaven and earth passing has nothing to do with their destruction. It is talking about powers and principalities...spiritual realities.
For example, what is the new Jerusalem? Has it come?

And with that explanation you erase many jots and tittles like Psalm 83.

No. I put them in their proper context.

You take a Psalm that is a prayer from 3000 years ago which makes mention of peoples who lived then, but somehow it is referring to a war with different peoples over 3 millennia in the future. And I'm the one who erased? Look what you have added.
