This is a type of flu virus. The current flu virus in the US alone has killed over 8000, mostly elderly in poor health to begin with. This strain is many times more deadly than the coronavirus. This virus probably around since Adam and Eve. God did not cause this, sin entering the world is the cause. Forgiveness of sin has little or no bearing on whether or not one becomes sick. The coronavirus will run its course in a few months. It certainly will not end civilization as it exists today.

One case and they close schools.
I find the reaction very strange.
Considering children are not in a high risk category.
Toronto had a big problem with SARS far more deadly....no schools were closed.
I feel like someone is trying to incite mass panic so they can declare martial law.
I had a similar thought when I was looking at one study speaking of how the mortality rate was similar to that of the flu.
(different studies I have seen have suggested coronavirus to be between 1.9% -3.5% of the infected which at it's worst seems to be just over double that of a seasonal flu, let alone more dangerous flu strains which were at 7%)
We are most Christlike when things are at their worst. That is the most beautiful silver lining regarding trials and tribulations.

Agree.... mass panic is probably more of a concern than the virus, especially as the media and some politicians keep people in a heightened state of worry and anxiety.
God is not the cause. We can not blame God for the mess that man and the devil has made out of His creation. He is doing a work to redeem and to restore. We are either in or out. A part of the solution or part of the problem. Everyone has to decide. We all have to make that choice for ourselves. It would be nice to blame God for our bad choices but it simply does not work that way. He holds us accountable.
We are told that this virus started with one person and that it comes from a bat. The Bible prohibits us from eating bats. Lots of people do not follow the teachings in the Bible regarding the food we eat. So there is going to be a price to pay for that.

That's the whole idea. I believe it is a conspiracy at the very top. All the media networks in the Western world are owned by a handful of billionaires, who dictate how and what should be broadcast. And they want the whole world in a state of turmoil right now, since Trump has been succeeding, the globalist elites have been losing, and the Leftists are looking like clowns.
Since global warming and climate change failed to have any serious impact (other than on some extreme Left Western politicians), coronavirus (just another strain for flu) is a perfect excuse to create mass panic and hysteria. This is all that the media want to talk about. And some people are stupid enough to believe them and start hoarding toilet paper (as if that will help).
If the FBI was what the FBI is supposed to be, the Director would speak publicly, with a message to all the networks to cease and desist, or face the consequences of creating panic and disrupting the economy and everything else. The percentage of deaths from flu and coronavirus are approximately the same -- about 1% of those infected.
I'm not convinced it's not just another fake news scare .. Sure it may be real but I don't have any feeling to take it more serious than any other seasonal flue or cold .. The first thing I thought of was the Orson Wells ''Mars invasion'' radio show hoax back in the 30's ..
