So, I believe the Concave Hollow Earth Theory deserves a serious look. It may go against mainstream science, but so does the Creation story of Genesis.

Edmond Halley is one of the pioneers of the Concave Earth belief, he dedicated his life to science. He has a very interesting story, I think it would benefit people who are interested in science, to learn more about him.

A brief story of Edmond Halley from what I got from the net. Please don't take my word for it, since I didn't really fact check all this stuff. Edmond's dad was a successful business man selling soap and funded his son in his pursuits of science. I believe Halley's Comet was named after Edmond, he also funded Sir Isaac Newton, so his writings could be published and examined. Seems like a legit dude to me!

Edmon Halley was lead to believe that the earth is concave and hollow from his experiments. I'm sure there is more to his story, but that's a brief back ground on one of the pioneers of the Concave Earth Theory.

"To acquire knowledge, one must study; but to acquire wisdom, one must observe".

This is a quote from the website I found to be very interesting. I'm far from an rocket scientist, so my understanding of the Concave earth is elementary at best. I have an open mind and believe it's more than possible, that this theory is true. Please have a look at this website, it may stir up the inner scientist in you.

Here is a video, that I think is relevant to the Concave Earth Theory.

It sure don't take much to entertain you. I recommend that you climb to the top of Mt Everest, wait for a clear day and enjoy the view of the round earth that you are living on.

So, how exactly did you acknowledge what was said, in this thread?!?!

Maybe if you practised what you preached, you would see things clearly?!?!

By the way, if you even understood what was posted, you would know, that I'm not denying that the earth is round.

Try again Billy!

Maybe, just maybe, if you try to understand what I'm saying, you could respond with a remark higher than a 6th grade level.

If your a just a kid in 6th grade, than I'm sorry for assuming you were an adult.

I'm gonna go one step further and say, all signs point to a stationary, concave, and hollow earth.

Not only do flights prove that the flat earth is wrong, it also disproves that the earth is moving.

How so, you might ask? Well, according to a convex earth, the earth is traveling one thousand miles per hour. If the earth is traveling at this speed, why do planes take approximately the same time from going from one destination, and back again, if the earth is moving? This is something serious to think about....REALLY!

Planes defy gravity, so planes in flight, are not bound by gravity.

Einstein said, relativity will fix this. Well, from a human perspective on earth, which we all share, there is no indication that the earth is moving. If we lived on the sun, or the moon, than yes, your perspective would be from there, the earth is moving, but we don't live on the sun, or moon. We live on the earth. To say the earth is moving from the moon's or sun's perspective, is a scientific trick, that has fooled the masses.

Anyone, that can just observe what is happening, will know there is no indication that the earth is moving. Go online and book a round trip flight, notice that both directions takes approximately the same time?!?! Eureka!!!!

How can you say that the earth is moving, but a round trip flight, it takes relatively the same time?!?! You will have to go into quantum physics or voodoo science to explain this away. From an observational perspective, the earth is standing still. Please prove differently, if you disagree.

Now a would like to further point out, that sun halos would indicate a glass ceiling, which is part of the concave-hollow-earth model.

I think from an observational perspective, the concave-hollow-earth is the only one that makes sense. If you believe in dual realities, than you can keep your convex earth, that is traveling around the sun at 1,000 miles per hour.

It's almost baffling, that people will argue that the earth is moving, but have taken flights, that prove other wise. Correct me, if I'm wrong.

My issue with the OP. Let me paraphrase it.

Here's a story. It may not be true as I have made zero efforts to fact check, yet I'm still going to present it.
Now, based off that unverified story I'm going to make a character judgment on someone.
Using that judgment of his character in this unverified story I'm also translating that to him also having a valid scientific mind, despite the fact that "seeming legit" by his character in no way legitimizes his capacity to come up with his own working theories.
Now based off of his hypothesis I'm going to translate that as a genuine possibility.

Next we have "I believe it is more than possible". Translation, I have nothing solid. And what I do believe I've already expressed comes from a story I don't know is true.

Then after setting yourself up as having the entire basis of what's said formulated from nothing being proven you seem to focus on observation as being solely credible.

And dismiss it that you may be able to be proven wrong by deep science. Why does that portion of science become invalid, while your assumptions based off of what you see and how you interpret things becomes more valid?

Then after all the comes the obligatory "how can you not see this?" rant.
And, of course, this all goes off the idea that you are one of the very few, special, enlightened ones that is capable of seeing the truth and everyone else must be mentally deficient if they can't see it. Everyone else is a fooled mass of sheep and you are above for seeing what they can't. Ok, Neo, back to the Matrix with you.

A rabbi once said, people who don't believe in God, have no answers, people who believe God, have no questions.

Looks like you can only question.......You haven't proved anything wrong, just questioning, and causing doubt.

Yes, go watch the Matrix again. Let me know when you have something, that disproves the concave-earth-model.

Until than, your mission in life, is to cause doubt.

Genesis 3:1
Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?”

I'm really surprised that, no one has come out with reasons, why the concave hollow earth doesn't work. This makes me wonder even more, that this theory is true.

Not to worry though. I plan on sending my airplane proof to a family friend, who is high up there at the Department of Defense. Also, will goto a local university, to see what a professor says.

I really believe this theory has creditability, but just want to test it, before I say, it's a fact.

The information presented to prove the thesis should be relevant, reliable, credible, and sufficient.
  1. relevant evidence – evidence must be directly and clearly related to proving the thesis.
  2. reliable evidence – evidence must be consistent and accurate; the same circumstances must have the same result.

I may even write a thesis and have it submitted to a university for proof of work, if it gets past the testing phase.

Hollow earth... hmm ok. Just WHO would we go to for the answer here? Man has only went down what 7.67 miles. They say to reach the center one has to go 3959 miles.

If run with the science like say time travel according to the movies then the same for Hollow earth we find KONG lives there.

It's o.k., it sounds like you have doubt. Nothing you said, disproves the Concave Hollow Earth Theory....Nothing.

I don't think time travel is possible, how would you resurrect dead people, to go back in time? How would you have people become alive, who haven't been born yet, if you went to the future? It's not possible in my opinion.

I'm still waiting for a family friend who works for the Department of Defense, to get back to me with a reason why a Concave Hollow Earth doesn't work.....Why planes can travel back and forth to a destination in approximately the same time, if the earth is moving.

The more I test this theory, the more it proves correct.

For instance, take the air pressure of the earth, how does the air stay in earth? Well, we live inside a ball, so the air is trapped inside. This explains it, maybe not to anyone else, but it makes perfect sense to me. Try poking a hole in a soccer ball and watch the air pressure drop. Check!

As far as the Concave Hollow Earth Theory, no one really know how deep the outer crust of the earth is, or what's behind the shell.

I don't know how bringing up King Kong or time travel is even related to the topic, but from the previous replies from Billy and SubH., your right at par with them in your rebuttal. Is it because people have Netflix and watch movies, so that means the Concave Hollow Earth Theory is wrong. Please!

Might be because a plane in the atmosphere is like a fish in the water. The position of the plane in the atmosphere is the same as the fish in water, it is surrounded by atoms which are moving in at the same rate as the earth's surface. Like the satellites that move in the geosynchronous orbit.

Doc Brown explains all of this in Back To The Future. I rode the DeLorean time machine on the Back To The Future attraction at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida so I have some experience in this regard.

Planes are not in orbit in flight, planes aren't swimming, they are flying. They are defying gravity, when they are flying.
