Put a bowl filled with anything with the 4 basic food colors. Suggestions: starbursts, skittles, fruit loops. Most men will be so distracted by the bait that they won't notice the trap waiting for them. Configure the trap so it'll cinch around the ankles and propel the target man into a helpless upside down position. Leave him dangling upside down as long as necessary until he has agreed to concede.

This really did have me laughing out loud -- just picture how distracting all the different colors would be! :ROFL:

My favorite thing about how this thread is turning out is that some of the best ideas are from the men themselves!!

Ladies, what do make of it if the men are a bit too eager to offer suggestions here! It's as if they want their fellow men to be trapped!! :LOL:

How do y'all (ladies) feel about this?

Is it ok that they're giving us such easy ideas -- or do we need a bit more of a challenge?

Perhaps something like this, except man-sized (and we'd have to find a way to make it humane!)

I'm thinking we could get away with this as long as we have a nice big field of soft, bouncy cushions for the men to land in once we trap -- and blast -- them.

A toolbox is a very personal thing. Every man wants only the tools he wants in a toolbox, none of the tools he doesn't, and it has to be a certain size to make room for more tools or to be easier to carry, depending on the man's preference. I don't think a toolbox would work.

If you want to try to make it work, you first have to learn a lot about the man for whom you are designing the trap. That is kind of antithetical to the whole aim of this thread. We are trying to make some good ideas for general traps.

And I also would totally kill that sandwich.

The best trap is one that the prey does not even know is a trap. If this was the trap somebody used for me, you could lock the door and I wouldn't even know it for a few months.

Recommended man trap ingredients:

1 car with flat tire(s)
1 damsel in distress
crappy tools to make sure that tire doesn't get changed too quickly
and maybe something to ensure tire stays flat and you aren't out of distress until you are done with man and ready to release him from the trap

So yeah drive you car somewhere that men will be, flatten tires, stand around looking helpless until man comes to your rescue then act very greatful and appreciative and tell him how much you needed him.

One flaw of this trap, it can also catch all those good men who are already married.
