Colour and size of text

How do you add colour and size to text in these text boxes? If I copy from word it just goes back to standard size and black.
 
If you're copying from another source you have to highlight the parts you want to change, then use the color/font/size options to change them in the CC text box. Different programs use different ways to communicate the color choices, so you have to tell each one which you want.
 
I don't know - I am having my own problems just trying to get an avatar. I will try to copy something that I wrote and paste to text box and see what happens.

Actually, right on the front page, below the button to enter chats are a line of words, one says 'Avatar', just click that and saves you going the long way through settings.
