But she knew she couldn't afford the baby in the first place. And condoms fail, as do other methods. Then what?

You reduce the problem by 80%, that is a real solution.

Also you can greatly reduce the problem if you have a number of books that kids have to read in 4th, 5th and 6th grade which describe how early pregnancy causes poverty, how sex out of marriage can cause your whole life to become a shipwreck, and to put forth the idea that excelling in High school is glorious. Whether it is in sports, or classwork, or debate, or drama, or music, or one of many different areas.
 
Please note, the Amish have a virtually 0% divorce rate. They live in the US, why the incredibly start difference?

1. No electricity -- hence no internet, no TV.

2. Teach their own kids, lift up marriage. Their schools are built, owned and run by the Amish community. So no Hollywood, no Disney, none of those perverts teaching your kids.

My mother was a nurse. At each age she would teach us what was appropriate. From "no has the right to touch you" on through sex ed. By the time they were teaching it in school I had already been told about the birds and bees.

Where are you getting this 80%? That sounds like pure speculation
I think trading teenagers like prisoners is a knee jerk reaction

Fine, try looking at a country where their education system works, their poverty rate is far lower than the US, single parents far lower than the US. There are a few countries like this. Taiwan is an example, but go ahead and find a country you want to imitate and learn from them.
 
There are a couple of principles I think everyone needs to understand.

1. As long as you have a society of fornicators fueled by pornographic material on the internet, on Hollywood and on TV you will have a majority of Americans supporting Abortion. You can't deal with abortion without dealing with fornication.

2. Secondly, our public school system for the inner city is so bad that it would truly be impressive if anyone could make it worse. Also, I would point out that there is a movement in NYC to make the high schools all boys or all girls. The parents realize they cannot monitor their kids and the worst thing that could happen to them in HS is if their daughter gets pregnant or if their son becomes a father.
 
Disney? I thought the narrative was that Disney was supposed to be turning kids gay. So how was that making them get pregnant?
Also sex drive comes from hormones because it's a built-in biological function. Doesn't matter what you're watching on TV

I have elsewhere many times, but I don't talk politics much on this forum specifically, and talk politics less and less elsewhere. All things political are turning into either attacks or just sounding boards. Diverse, - diversity of opinion and thought - intellectual, enjoyable, peaceful discussions with the other side are now things of the past. I bemoan their loss.

I the above in general is why you don't see it brought up often anymore, it's because there's no discussion. Many of us are just tired of the fighting - I personally think it's adding nothing good to the national conversation.

To those who aren't yet wore out by it all, more power to them.

that is a false analogy, the Jews here are not the women, the Jews are the unborn babes, it is not their will or their right to be aborted.

Also this still doesn't address the issues I brought up earlier. It's not that planned Parenthood is specifically targeting African American communities it's just you see more abortions and African-American communities do to poverty which is largely a result of generations of systemic racism
 
If they never count your vote did you ever really vote?
