Hi I'm Verdant (my chat name) I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and tentatively sticking my toe in here at 'Christian Chat'. I tried a Christian chat forum many years ago and found it rather odd. Many people didn't seem to really be Christ followers or had strange or misguided ideas about Christianity. My interest is primarily in apologetics and seeing the truth of scripture, not in the isolation of verses but viewing the big picture and how it all ties together from Genesis to Revelation

You do realize that this is a non denominational site and there are Calvinists, Roman Catholics, Assembly of God, Baptists, Quakers, Mennonites and occasionally agnostics & athiest trolls here. Keep your sword sharp and avoid pointless, never ending debates. The enemy is a smart, sneaky devil. Literally!
