I think we all know that this is the spirit of antichrist. And yes one day it will rule the world.

In any event the church needs to get involved in my opinion. What a opportunity to show the power of God to a people and nation who is trying to rid their selves of him in
Schools, public places, ECT.
If this generation likes data well we can show for instance the decline in public schools since prayer was forbidden just one of hundreds of things that are followed.
What I have seen is that most lack knowledge and what's being told to them is a lie.
Your sins will find you out. No doubt we all have sinned but this nation has a lot to repent for too.
Our whole system has kept many secrets. Has been and is corrupt. The news media needs to stand accountable for their actions also.

The main business and primary mandate for the Church (born again believers) is the propagation of the Gospel (Mt 28:18-20; Mk 16:15,16). When sinners are saved by the power of the Gospel and the power of God, they will TURN AWAY from all sin and wickedness to serve the living God. Which means they will stop their anarchism and lawlessness.
So churches must mind their own business and render to God what is God's. In any event, the divisions within Christendom will not allow churches to act in concert. For example the Catholic Church and the mainline denominations have been breaking the law by encouraging and harboring illegal immigrants. Other Christians would condemn them for lawlessness.
The pope has been encouraging the MIGRANT INVASION of Europe and North America. And that includes millions of Muslims, who are enemies of Christians and Christianity. The pope has also been promoting the Climate Change Hoax, the removal of national borders, and the destruction of Western societies and values. Since he is purely a Leftist, why would any sane Christian ever support his nonsense?

Roman Catholicism -- to be fair -- is a mixture of truth an error. So we could call it False Christianity or the Cult of Mary.
But even many Catholics regard Commie Pope Francis as a heretic. He was steeped in Liberation Theology (which is essentially Marxist) in Argentina.

I really don't think alot of us know what we're up against. This thinking mantality is being taught right in our schools.

I am a Republican but I will not vote for anyone, regardless of party that supports the killing of the unborn. If a church had to pick one area to support it should be the right to be born.
If we proclaim th truth of the Gospel, that should suffice. The Gospel introduces the unsaved to Christ -- who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
When we move to Tennessee my wife wants to plant a vegetable garden. Living where we now are in Clearwater there is no room for planting a garden, and besides that, it's too hot and the soil is mostly sand. Not really good conditions that are conducive for growing veggies.

we have more than a 'situation' here. only God holds back what will eventually overtake a country that has basically turned its back on God and created a secular version of the truth which panders to people but does not follow what would actually indicate a revulsion of sin

Oh I quite agree with you saint it's more than a situation. And this country has coward away from God.
Coward is the term I use as to be politically correct.
I believe God used the United States as a prophecy we have yet to fulfill.
We are one of the youngest countries yet by his grace we have been blessed as one of the most powerful and inspirational. We are hated just as Israel was and is.
Despite popular belief we were founded by Christian belief and are still grounded in it.
I think it's time to make the donuts....to stand up and be counted...to answer the call the way Isaiah did "send me"

sometimes hot button issues can just be a way of swaying voters when their policies turn out the other way. If you had open adoptions policies, then it would be easier for people to NOT have abortions. Because WHY are people having abortions? Are people NOW going to jail cos they have abortions? Obviously not as the abortions are still happening all the time. WHY?
If you make it illegal, what happens is people will continue to do it anyway, under the table.
Not saying that is always the case, but look at the history of prohibition and that didnt stop people from bootlegging. was alcohol more of a problem when it was illegal or legal?
On the other hand, legalising marijuana just made it into a billion dollar industry..but now that its legal trade I suppose the drug gangs cant have the monopoly on it.
Thing is that ship has sailed.

I was reading Chronicles. Back in OT, they didnt have a republic. It was a monarchy. the state of the nation depended on the King whether he did good in the sight of the Lord or he did evil. There was no voting about it at all. The interesting thing about Chronicles is, the few Kings that did good, got the ENTIRE nation to celebrate passover. And they got rid of all the idols in the land.
The US doesnt have a monarchy. There doesnt seem to be one unifying celebration...thanksgiving seems to be a bit of a joke as the native americans dont participate when its the reason for having it in the first place. and there are so many idols its not funny.
I think just relating it back to the OT and whats pleasing to God. You could make or change all the laws you want. You can constantly amend your consitution. but if you dont get the idols out of your land it wont make much difference. and mammon being the biggest idols is really hard to shift.
