Carol of the Bells is one of my favourite Christmas Carols, plus it comes from the country where my grandparents immigrated from, a culture I was extensively exposed to, growing up. This is arranged by Isaac Cates.

Maybe everyone could post a video of their favourite Christmas carol. And if you don't celebrate Christmas, feel free to move on, and not give us lectures on things we already know.

Angela53510 !! you really hit it out of the park with this one!! NEVER have I heard this done with such passion! Creative and amazing, both piano and angelic voices! I've never heard piano played with such soul either. ONLY brothers and sistahs, could create such an amazing work of art and worship!

Transiberian Orchestra, not Metallica whose music I really like. But I enjoyed it a lot.
It would be cool if it were Metallica. We could get great Christmas hits like Enter Santa, For Whom the sleigh Pulls , or Ride The reindeer.
Lol
Blessings

How about Sleigher?
Raining Presents
Seasons in the North Pole
Santa Watches Us All
Ghosts of Christmas Past

To all Brothers and Sisters out there grieving...

oh WOW! I've never heard this one before now. I have to admit that I was already deep into my Christmas "feels" listening to each of the songs. One by one the list has already hit on my "MOST" favorite Cmas songs :D , but this one only added a new pinnacle to the mixed feelings of Christmas --astonishment and worship, and that feeling of a tender breaking heart. I'm not sure why I feel that way exactly, and maybe it's just me? But sometimes things are so beautiful that they both bless me and lift me up AND feel like they will break my heart. (pardon me please if that sounded repetitive, some things are just difficult to express). Love, love, loved it, though! "....You're with the Son of God, you're with the Prince of Peace. You're with the One we're celebrating, and that thought amazes me...." <3 .. just wow.

Hello dear sister, it had that effect on me too. You are so darling with your words... Hugs.

Wow! You are exposing me to something new! It actually adds to Amy Grant's song. And a very different version of Oh Come! And good, too!

I think it is wonderful that people are making these carols contemporary, and so young people can enjoy them in the genre they like!

Ok, honestly wasn't sure whether to do the laughing icon on the surprised one! Not meant to be laughing AT it (which is why I chose the other reaction) but more like a laughing OH WOW, that's so cool!! :D Thanks so much for sharing this! LOVE IT!!!
I was unsure anyone on here would even get it. So i'm happy at least one did. ;)

It's actually pretty popular to do this. Often from surprising sources. Not only is it popular among Christian artists, but secular as well. Even religious oriented songs. This version of Silent Night is wonderful, but the man singing is from a secular band called MANOWAR which has a lot of songs that are quite anti-Christian. You may even enjoy this one ;)

Not sure what I was expecting, but that was actually really good! :D

Well, the last verse cranks it up, but it is pretty traditional! Nice version! I am enjoying this thread so much, and hearing a lot of different styles and versions of Christmas carols, which celebrate Jesus. I love Christmas for this reason, especially! Because secular society drops its total animosity towards Christianity, and everyone sings carols proclaiming that Jesus was "Son of God, love's pure light!" Christ the Saviour is born!

I was listening to this in my car today. It is a jazz(y) version of God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen.
Tidings by Israel and the New Breed!
