Um, no.

If a blood covenant had to be renewed daily, Jesus would have to be crucified daily.

That’s ridiculous and borders on heretical.

I thought it sounded kind of spooky myself, lol. But no Jesus does not have to die daily, we do. It is symbolic and yet should be done. What did Paul say? I die daily? We die to ourselves and receive what Jesus has to offer us, life.

Ancient Hebrew customs about covenants had certain rules. A friendship covenant was for life. A blood covenant must be renewed daily. I'm not Hebrew and have a vague grasp on the covenant rules?

Galatians 2:20
20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me..../KJV

So this isnt heresy, it's just a little bit complicated. Sorry if I was unable to clear it up for you, but what I'm talking about is in scripture.

No. Jesus died once for all for all time and more blood does not need to be shed. Nevertheless, God likes to use covenants. They are important to Him and should be to us…but they aren’t.

I did not make the rules for these covenants, God did that. I just read His word and try to understand. SO what's wrong with that?

Study up on blood covenants perhaps? There's no better way to start a day than to come into communion with Jesus and crucify my flesh for the day unto Him and surrender my will to Him and His will. And why not? I trust Him.

If I had to define Christianity, it would be Mt. 16:24, Mk.8:34 , and Lk. 14:27.

Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me."

What does that mean ? Deny self, take up your cross, and follow me? Anyone care to describe that in todays world.
Hello, this is an interesting subject because, as
Everything belongs to God

Personally, for me, it means, "my"suffering is not mine. ( thats the deny yourself part, that I still struggle with )
Its His. Because everything belongs to God, even our struggles...
I just have not quite grasped this yet

I am half way to the other side of.....s

lets cuddle and find out😁

Hoping I may say what I hear to say friend in the risen Lord for us all
It is finished? What is finished? What did Jesus do? He came here to earth to fulfill Law and Prophets, that spoke of his coming. Will he ever do, what is now done ever again?
I do not think so, he Was/is the last shedding of Blood forever it is done as said John 19:30

Matthew 5:17, John 19:30. Did Jesus do as he said he was going to do? By, Son the Law is filled Father led, for us (Law Not taken away, fulfilled) to be given new life in Father's spirit and Truth to lead us in love and mercy to all too, the same as Son did first.

the same as Son has done for all first, never fought back in flesh and blood as even Peter tried to do and was stopped when he pulled out that sword, and Jesus healed the ear of Malchus, who was there to take Jesus to those religious leaders and kill him.

The disciples only loved because through Son's done work for all, now risen, not just for them, yet All.
Father loved them first. Our turn to let go of pride and guilt also and love all, because Father first loved us all first.

Precious friends, just released for your Bible Study Enjoyment, and
possible "Solving of any Confusion" one may have?:

BIBLE CONTRASTS Why All These Differences?

"We see a number of dissimilar wordings within God's Word. Some have seen them
as contradictions in the Bible. We prefer the term 'contrasts'.

The main reason for these differences is that God is setting forth two separate
programs (intimated even in Genesis 1:1). The first deals with the earth and Israel.
The other concerns the heavens and Christ's Body Church. It was given to the Apostle
Paul to lay out these differences. He is God's "apostle of the Gentiles" (Romans 11:13)

So then we must recognize such Bible divisions if we want to truly understand God's
Word and be approved by Him (2 Timothy 2:15). Then we must follow the last directives
given by God through Paul as "the commandments of The Lord" at this present time
(1 Corinthians 14:37)..." (D Adams)
