Sometimes I wish I was never born. Since that day, all I've know is struggle. But I know God has purpose in my life. Sometimes I also wish that the rapture would happen already. I need help in prayers

Welcome to CC Moriah-Bell. Struggles are difficult to bear and I will pray for you. In my experience we eventually find unexpected blessings in those struggles. I think every Christian secretly wishes for the day of redemption.

I remember what happened on Mt. Moriah. Abraham's faith was severely tested, and there too he received God's blessings. Solomon built a temple to the Lord there and the faithful returned to Moriah after their exile. It is also the location where Yeshua will return in his glory.

Your story has not been written yet.

Hi Moriah, I am glad you are here. I understand the trial your facing.

Many of your brethren in the world are facing the same trial.

The scripture says through much tribulation we do enter the kingdom.

We must not grow weary in well doing. We must endure.

Jesus is a friend that sticks closer than a good brother.

He is likely using these trials to train you to come unto Him. He will never fail you. :giggle:

It helps to have brethren to help bear your burden though.

I'm here for you if you ever need someone to talk to. :)

Dear sister Moriah, I lived in the Philippians. for about 2 years during the Vietnam War, I came to make it my second home, I loved the people there, they are very hard working and most at least I met were also a God-fearing people! Believe me sister you are far from alone!! Most of us fully understand how difficult it can be living in this world!

As a disciple of the Most High at my tender age of 70 (lol) what Jesus taught me first is that in order to hold fast to one's faith one most have Courage! ( Deut 31:6) When we look at God's Word every disciple was met with despair of some sort, but their courage. carried them through. Jesus himself had to have courage knowing what he had to do and knew what was coming besides!! SO!!!

Do not lose heart my dear sister! (2 Cor 4:16-18!!!) STAY in God's WORD!!! DAILY!!! For just as the body decays without food, our Spirit can decay without the food of the Word of God! Remember that and stay thankful no matter what!! For in one's thanksgiving we stay in the very will of God himself!!! (1 Thess 5:18-19) May every blessing always find you sister and find you most well in God's will for your wonderful life!!

Sometimes I also wish that the rapture would happen already.
Me too.
Let's just try to take it one day at a time.

2 Corinthians 12:9
“And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”

Matthew 6:34
“Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.”

Our best days are yet ahead, I can promise you that.

I need help in prayers
Lets take all things to the Lord in prayer... together.

Welcome to CC, Moriah. I will pray for you right now.

Some people look at a doughnut and see something to eat and enjoy. Others look at the doughnut and see only the hole. I was one of the "see the hole" types. I was like Jeremiah, cursing the day that I was born.

I was born again 50 years ago. Like you, I struggled a lot. All I could see was my imperfections and faults. The problem was that I was looking in the wrong place. When I began to see (with a great deal of help) that I was looking at the old, dead "me" the light began to dawn. One day, it finally clicked. Jesus died for my sin but He also died for me, the sinner. I am crucified with Christ, the Bible says. I did not feel dead and I did not act like I was dead. Why? Because I thought that there was something I had to do to make it real. In reality, there is nothing I can do. Jesus died and rose again 2,000 years ago. I can do nothing to make it real and nothing I do can undo the death and resurrection of Christ. And that applies to me also. God puts us into Christ. It is of Him that we are in Christ Jesus.

My advice is to ask God to open your eyes that you may see that what I am saying is true. It is possible to study the Bible, read lots of books and yet it remains all theory. Satan will always steer you towards looking at yourself. He seeks to fill us with doubt and unbelief. Remember what he said to Adam? "Did God say.....?" We may get thoughts like, "I'm not good enough" or "It applies to so and so but not to me." We are too inclined to go by feelings. We must stand on God's word no matter what. The truth sets us free.

It works. I've never had such peace. In the last 6 years, I've had 3 serious illnesses, one near fatal. I have been at peace in all those times.

We hear a lot about being relieved of the burden of sin. That's great and I treasure the forgiveness that Jesus bought for me with His precious blood. We hear less about being relieved of the burden of self. If only Christians knew this great truth. Most of our worry and stress would be gone. We could get on with being the people that God intends us to be.

You will be in my prayers, I think its encouraging to know that a lot of people in the bible who walked with God had a lot of uncomfortable, unfavorable, circumstances and experiences that they had to overcome. Some of their experiences put them in the right place to be where they needed to be. 💛 I hope you have people around you who love you, who can speak life into you in your weak days.

( I'm not saying these scriptures pertain to your situation, but I hope they might lead you to a prayerful time with the lord 💛✨🙏 Blessings)

Matthew 6: 33 - But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

Mathew 7:7-11 - “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened. 9 Or which one of you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a serpent? 11 If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!

James 4:2 - You desire and do not have, so you murder. You covet and cannot obtain, so you fight and quarrel. You do not have, because you do not ask.. 3 You ask and do not receive, because you ask wrongly, to spend it on your passions.

James 4:7 - Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Philippians 4:6 - Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

2 Peter 3:9- The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.

2 Corinthians 1 ( I just read this today and thought of your situation 🌸✨)

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. 5 For as we share abundantly in Christ's sufferings, so through Christ we share abundantly in comfort too.[a] 6 If we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation; and if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which you experience when you patiently endure the same sufferings that we suffer. 7 Our hope for you is unshaken, for we know that as you share in our sufferings, you will also share in our comfort.

8 For we do not want you to be unaware, brothers,[b] of the affliction we experienced in Asia. For we were so utterly burdened beyond our strength that we despaired of life itself. 9 Indeed, we felt that we had received the sentence of death. But that was to make us rely not on ourselves but on God who raises the dead. 10 He delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us. On him we have set our hope that he will deliver us again.
( blessings, the whole character pretty good 💛💛 )

Here's a Church in Manilla that might be a blessing to you.

I've listened to a lot of the pastor's teaching online and find them very insightful.

Here is the churches YouTube channel.
Verity Baptist Church, Manilla
I will pray for your encouragement.
You'll find other Filipinos here at CC too.

Hey Moriah as really know the feeling. But that God never makes mistakes at all. He put us on here for His purpose and reason. As hope you can seek help as with counseling along with in possibly medication. Believe me it took a very long time to find out. Let God lead you as only He can do so.
