To be honest, I know it’s not Christian but I thought it sounded metal and didn’t think the OP would mind.

Nickleback is one of the most reviled bands in existence. But within the metal community even more so due to their attempt to align themselves with metal, as they are certainly not viewed as metal. Nor does any fan based argument ever sway anyone to think they are metal.
The Punk Rock MBA (a YouTuber with a business and marketing background that deals with metal/punk) actually did a good job covering this topic.
But, yes, never utter the words "Nickleback" and "metal" around metal heads 😂😂

Not really a BM fan myself, but Frost Like Ashes has released a new album on Rottweiler Records. They were one of the few BM bands I ever cared for, though I wasn't a fan of the new stuff. But my interest in BM has lessened even more than it once was. So my tastes mean little in this regard.
