I always felt like playing drop tuning was cheating. I mean dropping your six string a full step so you could bar a power chord with one finger. Man up and play the progression that fast. lol.

You're talking about drop tuning and things i have no clue about haha. Much as i loved music, i was never gifted in playing it. So yeah, no point in complaining to me about things i won't get haha.

Here's another punk band, may like them... The Clergy..

I remember seeing these guys in a Battle of the Bands at some club in S FL. They had just flown in from C-Stone about half an hour before (Cornerstone was a huge Christian metal/punk/etc festival in Illinois, 4 days long, this vid is from C-Stone). They had a 30 minute set and on the first song the singer jumped and landed bad and hurt his knee. He kept going and finished the song, limping around. Starts the second one, then they come out and while he's screaming, duct tape his bare skin, around his knee. hahaha. He didn't miss a beat the whole time. And to top it off, he worked in they were a Christian band standing for Jesus Christ. The vocalist eventually left for seminary, and their drummer took over vocals. They had that pit moving too. Only Christian band on the bill that night. And that pit erupted. Was awesome.

Dyingeveryday,

The most important thing is just that you got saved.

Really.
That's just awesome.

And If God is powerful enough to create the universe, I'm pretty certain he's powerful enough to give you a little bit of direction in your life about music. I'm sure anything you have questions about will clear up just fine in time.

I dig it. It's one of those things. When you first get saved you question everything afraid that it will cause may cause you to stumble. I'm coming to realize that you can't live on an island. And a lot of things aren't going to harm me in my walk. I can't stand hearing extreme noised terror or the crass just speak out against God. It offends the Spirit in me. But there is a lot of music that is okay and makes me feel uplifted and good.
