Chosen to inherit the promises to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. God's choice, not man's who thinks in terms of natural things like circumcision, physical genealogy, natural firstborn, works of law, or whatever. Chosen by God to be a part of the genealogy of faith extending from Adam unto Christ.

Please define God's "Chosen People" and what that means. Chosen for what?
God chooses those who will be saved. If He did not make that choice, no one would be saved. God's salvation began with Abraham. God chose to work through the nation of Israel, Abraham's descendants.

Christians are also chosen by God. According to the Bible, God's choice is made according to what He knew before we were born. Are you one of the chosen? Your being here and asking serious questions would say yes. You still must accept God's gift of salvation. It is not automatic.

Why has God chosen us? There are two kingdoms. One is the Kingdom of Darkness, which rules the world now. It is responsible for all the evil that goes on. God is bringing in His Kingdom, the Kingdom of God. People are either living in the kingdom of darkness or facilitating the kingdom of God. There is no middle ground.

The Kingdom of darkness is already unraveling. Jesus defeated Satan 2,000 years ago. We are seeing God's word unfold right now, especially in Israel. Jesus may return for His people any time. It's best to be on the winning side! There is a fight and it's not easy. There is a price to pay, but it is nothing compared to the reward that God has for those who seek His kingdom first.

Why do the Jews say they're Gods chosen people? Does it mean they're justified and cleaner than non jews?

Why do the Jews say they're Gods chosen people? Does it mean they're justified and cleaner than non jews?
The Jews are indeed God's chosen people. Yet they are also rebellious, immoral, idolatrous and proud. Just like all of us. God chose to demonstrate His love and power in different ways. He took an idolator, Abraham, and Abraham's barren wife, and made a mighty nation from his descendants. Israel rebelled against God and so lost their power and glory. Solomon's reign was the pinnacle of Israel's power. But he disobeyed God. After his death, Israel declined. The Jews rejected Jesus. Eventually, Rome had enough of Israel's rebellion and destroyed Israel's towns and villages. Most Jews migrated to other countries. The Romans renamed Israel Palestine.

God plan and purpose cannot be thwarted. He promised Abraham a land, Israel, and the nation of the same name. He promised to kick Israel out of the land if they rebelled and that happened. he also promised to bring them back. That began in the 19th century. Mark Twain visited Jerusalem in 1867. He said that Christians and Muslims outnumbered Jews. Four years later, Jews outnumbered non Jews.

In 1948, there were about 630,000 people living in Israel. Five Arab armies declared war on the new state. The whole world could have attacked Israel, but God would have stepped in to save the nation.

Israel has a population of about 10 million, with 8 million being Jews. The surrounding Muslim nations have about 450 million people. Yet Israel overcomes all opposition. It is by the power of God. The world hates Israel because it is a testimony to God's power and glory.

Chosen for what?
From-Ephesians1-4-6s.png

From Ephesians 1 verses 4-6 ~ He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world to be holy and blameless in His presence. In love He predestined us for adoption as His sons through Jesus Christ, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of His glorious grace, which He has freely given us in the Beloved One.

God chose (established) a category such as the nation of Israel, not the individuals who would be born into that category. As a hidden mystery he also established a category (the body of Christ) by which some gentiles could be saved if Israel faltered. It is unclear of the body of Christ would have been revealed if a faithful Israel had received their earthly kingdom.

“He took an idolator, Abraham, and Abraham's barren wife, and made a mighty nation from his descendants.”

how’s abraham an idolater ?

“Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bare you: for I called him alone, and blessed him, and increased him.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭51:2‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.

Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham. So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭3:6-7, 9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Abraham was Gods friend I’m not sure there’s an accusation of idolatry against him but look who alone was called and blessed …. And look who his children are

“Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭3:16, 27, 29‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Christ is the chosen seed of Abraham who would bless all nations he alone is chosen and called the promised son of Abraham promised son of David

“The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭1:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬

the chosen seed approved alone is Jesus . If we are in Christ we are included in the body of Christ the chosen and annointed son of God

theres only Jesus without him no one can be saved

If you examine all of the Verses discussing Chosen you will discover rather quickly that God CHOSE a Standard, a Way to live, a Solution to the sinful man, ALL through the Death\Burial\Resurrection of Jesus the Christ.

In Deuteronomy we see God CHOSE a [(People via thru a Nation)]

In Exodus we see God CHOSE a Standard [10 Commandments and the LAW] for these People to abide by [(just like Christians are different from the rest of the world in today's modern day so was the ancient Hebrew Jews from the rest of world in Their day)]

And just like the Ancient Hebrew Jews and the Proselytized who joined them + the future Christians and Followers of Jesus [(ALL WHO WOULD BELIEVE IN GOD)] were CHOSEN to be Saved in Jesus [or the fulfillment of what Jesus did upon the Cross].

The Person of Jesus became the First Born [His humanity] of the New Covenant or Way of being Saved. God CHOSE Jesus to fulfill this necessary Way to be Saved. And once Jesus fulfilled this Romans 8:29-30 shows us that the Ancient Hebrew Jews were eventually Sanctified + each Jew and Gentile who ends up being a Follower of Christ also becomes Sanctified.

But ultimately we see that God CHOSE Jesus to fulfill all of His Will in how God's People would be Saved.

So the real emphasis on the CHOSEN issue is all about God, His Plan, and how He CHOSE Jesus to fulfill that Plan.

It's not stated in the bible. It's a Jewish tradition. I seriously doubt it because Abraham most likely learned the gospel from Shem/Noah, who were both alive during his life, while he was in Haran. It could be possible that Terah believed in the one true God and migrated with his family to Haran to learn from them

The Books Jasher and Jubilee, mentioned in our own Tanakh (Old Testament) give us a lineage that begins with Adam, then Seth, that includes Enoch and eventually Noah. Then from Noah's son Shem eventually we come to Abram.

Now I understand everyone of us can lead to Noah but only a few of us leads to Shem.

Here's the lineage:
Noah: had three sons: Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
Shem: had a son named Arphaxad.
Arphaxad: had a son named Shelah.
Shelah: had a son named Eber.
Eber: had a son named Peleg.
Peleg: had a son named Reu.
Reu: had a son named Serug.
Serug: had a son named Nahor.
Nahor: had a son named Terah.
Terah: had a son named Abram (later known as Abraham).

Please define God's "Chosen People" and what that means. Chosen for what?

Biblically, the People who are the called-out ones were Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. God made a covenant with Abraham, and God is faithful even when man was not. God made a Covenant with the House of David, and God has not failed in that.

“Abraham most likely learned the gospel from Shem/Noah,”

“Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee: and I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: and I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭12:1-4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.

And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.

So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭3:7-9‬ ‭

“And the angel of the LORD called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time, and said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD,

for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son: that in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed;

because thou hast obeyed my voice.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭22:15-18‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made.

He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭3:16, 27-29‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Abraham’s children are born by faith in Christ. Believing the gospel. Which was preached to Abraham By the lord himself who ate a meal with Abraham and visited him personally blessed and called him to leave his kin and homeland and made him promises of what God would do to reward his faith

One of those promises was made pertaining to all the world all nations and kindreds and tongues , tbat promise is Jesus Christ Gods only begotten son , who like Abraham didn’t withhold his only son from God , God also answered with his o my son being sacrificed for all sinners to have true everlasting hope of salvation from the condemnation and dominion of sin.

this part

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Is because of this part

because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son: that in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed;

because thou hast obeyed my voice.”

and will fulfill this part

“And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be. And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭15:5-6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations. Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee. And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee. And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭17:4-7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.”

Biblically, the People who are the called-out ones were Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. God made a covenant with Abraham, and God is faithful even when man was not. God made a Covenant with the House of David, and God has not failed in that.

those promises are why Christ was born and came to fulfill them and preach the gospel. Thier covenants involved thier sons promised by God thier rightful hier. There were two covenants made with Abraham one with his flesh choldren and another promosed for the people of faith who had faith like Abraham and believed Gods promises …to them who hears and believes God like Abraham did it would be “ accredited as righteousness “
then the time came for that to be fulfilled

“The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭1:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬

promised son of David

“And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: and he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭1:31-33‬ ‭

Promised son of Abraham

“Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

…For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭3:16,

the promises made to the patriarchs and saints of God in the ot we’re later offered to all creation through the gospel and name of Gods only begotten son.

the promises made to the patriarchs and saints of God in the ot we’re later offered to all creation through the gospel and name of Gods only begotten son.
The promises were given before Jesus' birth. The genealogy of Christ, as found in Matthew and Luke, traces back to Adam and David.
Those listed are of the Elect of God. Jesus said, 'Salvation is of the Jews, did He not?' Abraham died before the Incarnation of Christ. Is he in hell? The point is the Jews are the called out ones, and Israel today is still important.
