I also gave this a shot... sorry but I'm not impressed at all... but that they actually had to shut down 2 AI's did. Apparently what was warned against back in the late 60's only sparked their interest and now THEY are warning against AI. Google would love to get hold of EVERYTHING you think say and do, and are using AI to gather it all up. Not a theory. This is Truth.

Using ChatGPT to Call Scammers


AGI is an erroneous metric, when AI is smarter than 50% of humans as this demonstrates then we have a massive problem.

Instead of AGI (Artificial General Intelligence) the metric should be AAI (Artificial Average Intelligence) and sadly for the human race that is not a very high metric.

There is a legal issue, in order to use ChatGPT you have to tell the person up front they are talking to AI.

The way they take out the scammers shutting them down is they put a virus on their computer hidden in a file they entice these guys to download (call it Bank information, etc). With that virus on their computers they can take over their system and have their phones call numbers that have a fee, $10 per minute. You get 24 lines calling continuously for 7 days they can run up a huge bill ($2.4 million) and bankrupt them.

A second option which is less effective but works even if they don't take the bait is to hit them with a service that makes continuous calls to their numbers, since they are toll free numbers they have to pay for them as well. But they'll know about it immediately, cancel those lines and get new lines.

But the beauty of this approach is they can make the scammer think they have $5,000 in bitcoin and send them to a "service" that lets them know up front they have an AI that will help them with the process of getting their money and then waste their time and frustrate these guys to the uttermost.

I told you all this would happen. It is a drive through only, they have four lines that take the orders. You could have the entire process automated with AI, Machine Learning, robots, etc. About 140 people work at a 24 hour McDonalds, with this system they can probably cut that to 4 managers, and soon you can probably reduce that with a few of these google robots. I suspect that will take a year because if you don't have a person at the McDonald's to received deliveries you will probably want the delivery to also be automated. However, I suppose if the truck is from McDonald's they could have a truck driver trained to put the stuff in the McDonald's (CosMc's) especially if they are all identical. AI is definitely capable of alerting the owner of a delivery and letting him watch via camera while the delivery is made and the AI confirms receipt.

There are over 700 restaurants in my small city of 200k. Generally 10% of the workforce works in restaurants, this could be about 10,000 people in this city. However, I suspect that the vast majority work in large chains which I suspect will be rolling out their own version of CosMc's drive through only restaurant. I would not be surprised if 5,000 of them are unemployed by the start of 2025.
 
This is very interesting. There are a number of podcasts which are doing great. Steve Bannon, Crowder, and a few others are doing very well.

However all the left wing mouth pieces used for propaganda are collapsing. It is cheaper and more effective to replace them with AI.

According to the report, Tasty and First We Feast had “been a key component of BuzzFeed’s efforts to generate revenue streams beyond advertising” through merchandise.

My take? BuzzFeed is so desperate for cash that it’s forced to sell one of its few remaining popular verticals.

Vice Media went from being valued at $5.7 billion to being unable to pay its bills, filing Chapter 11, no one wanting to purchase it, and now that garbage site is valued at just $350 million. And like BuzzFeed, it’s selling off its parts, in this case, “Refinery29, which saw a decrease in revenue to $30 million last year from around $50 million in 2022, according to people familiar with the matter.”

A mere four years ago, Vice purchased Refinery29 for — wait for it, wait for it — $400 million. So Vice paid $400 million for Refinery29 in 2019, and now Vice itself is valued at less than that, at $350 million.

This is the not-so-slow-motion collapse of an ideology and attitude.

What happens when 60% of Americans are unemployed including most (80% or more) of white collar jobs. The restaurants, especially the luxury ones will all close. In fact the one that would probably be the last to close would be the McDonalds that are completely automated, that would probably be food so cheap you don't save much making it at home.

So even if you only can automate the big chains and fast food restaurants, by that time so many people are unemployed that the high end restaurants are all shuttered.

Also with Zoom why do you need to send businessmen overseas to have meetings? Without that traffic all these hotels will dry up. 52.5% of hotel guests are business, so you can lose half of your guests. Add to that a 60% unemployment and who will be taking a holiday in a hotel?
