What's next for Turning Point is they are continuing with all their shows and activities. Erika Kirk is now doing the Charlie Kirk show.

I saw the following video from a woman watching Erika Kirk on the show. I will say that there is no common way for people to grieve.

Her point was when her grandfather died she could not talk about sentimental things concerning him without bawling and that was for years. When my son died I was unable to smile or laugh for a year. I had no heart, I didn't want to bring others down, but I had no heart to be laughing and light hearted.

So although I agree there is no common way for people to grieve, like this woman who posted her own experience, I too am stunned to see Erika Kirk laughing and smiling as she talks about the ministry and her husband. I don't know what to make of this.

I share this because this is what's next. Make of it what you will.

I'm sorry but that's extremely unfair and judgmental. In her position she can't simply fall to pieces. The country, ever the world is watching her. When you have a job that is public you keep your private feelings private. I was in public ministry for many years. During that time I had several tragic losses of close family members but I couldn't fall apart every time I had to go on stage in front of people. Besides that fact, she is still in shock. But when she is alone at night, or her little ones are asking for Daddy, I'm sure her heart bleeds. I haven't been here for several days but I don't understand how this country has gone from comforting a grieving young widow to blaming and judging her. Just because she is able to keep her private feelings private doesn't mean she didn't love her husband or misses him terribly. That's called being a professional, I didn't love the family I lost any less because I didn't scream and shake my fist at God asking why. I had a job to do and kept my grief private. She would feel all the more that pressure not to let her husband down.

I did not say she should. I said make of it what you will. This thread is about what is next after the assassination. What is next is Erika Kirk, this video shows her in this role. Make of it what you will. I have said already I am not in agreement with the woman in this video, but at the same time I understand her confusion.

I did not say Erika didn't love Charlie, stop putting words in my mouth and stop distorting what the video says.

There are two separate questions, the comforting a grieving widow is one of them, the other is what is next for Turning Point USA. This thread is addressing the second question.

Let's talk for a second about tin foil hat conspiracy theories. Anyone who thinks that the whole world does not lie in the evil one, is in my mind wearing a tin foil hat, they have their fingers in their ears saying I can't hear you, they have their eyes closed and they are yelling "lalalala" to make sure you can't say anything.

We were told repeatedly during the memorial by the most powerful people in the world that Turning Point USA is a very powerful political organization. Anyone who doesn't want to believe it, fine, put your tin foil hat on.

They are driven by emotions first, and to protect that emotional engagement, that they label everything a conspiracy theory rather than actually challenging themselves to put aside their emotions and think.

It is what it is, my understanding is that this will be my last week on this forum. I might stay a day or two next week, but I believe this is the word the Lord told me last night. We serve at the Lord's will and we go where He sends us.

Well we definitively disagree on many things, but you are one of the few on here who is paying attention and is recognizing the deception, so I will miss that if you go.

But yes it is important to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit and redeem the time according to His plan for you.

Wow, you seem deeply concerned with this. I didn't say you said anything of the sort, nor did I put words in your mouth. What I said is just because she's acting in a professional way in public doesn't mean she's not grieving deeply in private. "Make of it what you will "would indicate to mean that something is wrong with her actions.

Well give her some time and we'll find out. I'm sure she'll do her best to make her husband proud.

I'm not sure what to say there. Sure Satan has influence but we have overcome the world. Our concern is reaching the world for Christ. I may be taking your comment wrong so I'll leave it there.

I don't know. With Charlie gone, who knows what will happen. From the young people I have seen willing to take up the torch it's a good thing. It's lit a fire under young men in particular. Universities need to hear another side than just leftists drivel and indoctrination.

Well I hate to see you go. We need the strong ones here. People that speak the truth. I've always appreciated your posts, for what its worth. But if the Lord calls you you must go where he leads. You'll be missed here brother. Even if we didn't always agree, I appreciated your POV.

What's important is not the opinions or distractions but the unstoppable goal of the end of many leftist ideologies.

At Charlie Kirks memorial service Erica said she forgives that kid that shot her husband but instead of being quiet and honoring her Trump talked different and divisive and I wish he were a more mature leader.

You and me both friend. What seems so weird to me is he went on about how he hates his opponents and doesn't want the best for them. This is the guy that so many in his "Christian" base are looking at to lead them to the promised land. Something ain't right.

He just stated what most likely a lot of us feel
at least he does not lie. Or say something he does not believe

She certainly can and most likely has in private

Exactly.

Good thing nobody's doing that

The democrats enthusiastically advocate and support killing babies before they can be born and many of then advocate killing them after they are born (infanticide)

In fact liberals love baby killing so much it's a major plank of the democratic party platform to the point that nobody can get any support from the Democratic National Convention (the DNC) to run for any office as a democrat unless they enthusiastically advocate and support killing babies before they can be born... along with supporting the gay agenda that calls for teaching children that being gay as A-OK

Abortion and sexual perversion are both abomination unto the Lord, so one cannot be a Christian and a liberal at the same time.

Sure the republicans have their warts as well, but at least they have not made what the Lord calls abomination planks in their party platform.

The statements from Trump leaves the impression that he is but a mature leader. In fact, not mature at any stage of where this should be expected from a human being. It’s more like a bully in a play pen.

Trump is THE most mature leader among your lunatics.
That’s why he was elected.

Uh huh, telling the world you hate your enemies is demonic and definitely not mature.

This is how we know he does not have the Holy Spirit, among other obvious signs.

Christianity aside, IF he were mature he would keep his hatred under wraps which would enable him to work more effectively against his enemies.

Unfortunately for Trump, he suffers from diarrhea of the mouth.
