I do not know what video you are talking about...Because a changed person will never go back to their old self. But that video emphasizes
we can do that and be saved. There's no verses that make that claim anywhere.
First page first post. I thought everyone watched it lolI do not know what video you are talking about...

Is the following doctrine for the body of Christ?
James 5
14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
...I see no definitive scripture that says I have guaranteed salvation.
?: Hmmm, what do you "call these"?:Because a changed person will never go back to their old self.
I said "changed." I believe the process of being changed is past being a babe, "jmo."?: Hmmm, what do you "call these"?:
"Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that aresanctified in Christ Jesus, called saints, with all that in everyplace call upon The Name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirsand ours" (1 Corinthians 1:2 AV)+
"And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ."(1 Corinthians 3:1 AV)carnal "babes In Christ" saints, who are "unrighteous and Condemned"?
Or?:
Have God's Eternal Salvation Based On Christ's BLOOD, not behavior?:
"To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may Be Saved in The Day of the Lord Jesus."(1 Corinthians 5:5 AV) What Day?:The Judgment Seat Of Christ! which teaches:"If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss:but he himself Shall Be Saved; yet so as by fire."(1 Corinthians 3:14-15 AV)"Bad behavior works" burned up, but the "spirit SAVED By The
Christ's Precious BLOOD, Unto God's Eternal Salvation," Correct?
Amen.
I heard of a case at CC Philly where two young female heroin addicts received Christ for salvation, and subsequently died the next day from an overdose.Because a changed person will never go back to their old self. But that video emphasizes we can do that and be saved. There's no verses that make that claim anywhere.
As regards the truly saved, the change so-called is spiritual and instantaneous.I said "changed." I believe the process of being changed is past being a babe, "jmo."
I know some are instantly changed but most go through a process. But they eventually reach a point of being "changed." It's the "changed person" that is being mentioned in the video. I disagree with Stanley on that.
And they also weren't "changed." They were saved but not yet changed.I heard of a case at CC Philly where two young female heroin addicts received Christ for salvation, and subsequently died the next day from an overdose.
I am of the resolute indefectible indefatigible position that if indeed those ladies did receive their Savior as Lord and redeemer, then they were certainly saved for eternity. There was no delay, no transition period, no post salvation rehab proofing......a spiritual reality not bounded by time, unaffected by anything in this creation.
The Covenant, once received, cannot possibly be broken. It is impossible for Christ to lose one of His own.
I agree, but for some the the work God does in us is a longer process to be completely changed than for others. As regards the truly saved, the change so-called is spiritual and instantaneous.
Of course I do agree that some fruit will be born by those who persist in this earthly pilgrimage.
John 8:31 et. al.
Lol......."completely changed"?I agree, but for some the the work God does in us is a longer process to be completely changed than for others.
Whatever the earthly vicissitudes......I said "changed." I believe the process of being changed is past being a babe, "jmo."
I know some are instantly changed but most go through a process. But they eventually reach a point of being "changed." It's the "changed person" that is being mentioned in the video. I disagree with Stanley on that.
You are "changed" enough to know you don't desire to be without God and go back to how you were before you knew God, correct?Lol......."completely changed"?
I don't know about you but I am well aware of the fact that I am certainly not "completely changed". Not by a longshot. Because it would take and eternity.
they were certainly saved for eternity.
It is impossible for Christ to lose one of His own.
I am certainly not "completely changed"
