Sin is a chain that pulls us low,
A shadowed path where sorrows grow.
It whispers lies, it blinds the heart,
And tears the soul and peace apart.
But on the cross, the Savior came,
He bore our guilt, He took our shame.
His blood has washed our stains away,
And turned our night to glorious day.
Now sin no longer rules within,
For Christ has broken chains of sin.
In Him we stand, redeemed, set free,
Forever His in victory.
A shadowed path where sorrows grow.
It whispers lies, it blinds the heart,
And tears the soul and peace apart.
But on the cross, the Savior came,
He bore our guilt, He took our shame.
His blood has washed our stains away,
And turned our night to glorious day.
Now sin no longer rules within,
For Christ has broken chains of sin.
In Him we stand, redeemed, set free,
Forever His in victory.
