I just saw this and I can’t believe this topic is in the conspiracy forum (well maybe I do) but the double slit experiment shows that an atom itself can be “conscious” when observed by another bunch of atoms (us).

While it's true that science produced a bomb that leveled two major cities, the same science can power a nuclear submarine for 30 years

Okay so you need to get over the ‘Condensending’ part in humans.
For a believer this is done by having peace in God.
For a non-believer, maybe pet your cat or listen to some music or do whatever you like so you’re not bothered when people don’t agree with you.

Main reason I bought heads was pretty much everyone here are I'm not an anti-vaxxer,
I don't believe everything scientific is satanic and I believe law should be passed on the Constitution instead of religious text

Show me any time in history when man took in a scientific approach to being like God that didn't lead to death?

TNT was hailed as a great invention because it allowed us to do so much with mining and building, but of course it led to us killing each other.

Same with research into atomic energy.

The guy who saved the most people in human history is Fritz Haber, the father of chemical warfare. He invented a process to make nitrogen fertilizer he also made Chemical weapons used in warfare including Zyklon B.

The same can be true of every scientific advancement.

Seriously? Do you even understand what the purpose of the particle collider is and why they want to know what the building blocks of the universe are?

When we understood atoms and figured out how to put them together it revolutionized the world. We can now completely manipulate our surroundings. For example, a fan blade on a jet engine is lifting the weight of a small car on each of those wafer thin blades. In order to do that you need to make the entire blade a single crystal otherwise it would crack. That involves all kinds of amazing Chemistry, but in addition to that the temperature that the jet engine runs at is higher than the melting temperature of the metal in those fan blades. That is why many concluded jet engines were impossible and would never be made. You can bet when they actually did make a working jet engine they thought they were god.

Likewise that was the reaction of the scientists when they first made an atomic bomb.

We also thought that way when we made fertilizer and pesticide to double, triple and quadruple the agricultural production from a field.

Others have claimed that when you see technology you don't understand it looks like magic. Think of what people must have thought concerning radio or TV or radar or sonar or stealth fighters or satellite telecommunications or spaceships going to the moon.

No, you refuse to listen to what I am saying and instead grossly distorting it. I am a Geologist, I have been a scientist for 40+ years.

We are talking about the tree of the knowledge of good and evil that would make someone to be "like" god.

We are not talking about studying the creation and the creator.

We are talking about Jafar, the sorcerer in the movie Aladdin who wanted to control the power of the universe so he could be the most powerful sorcerer in the world.
