So I been to an AG Pentecostal church all my life. They always taught me "Halloween is the devils Holiday". My church was 100% against celebrating Halloween and "forbade and prohibited" us young children from ever participating in it. I honestly never had a problem with it, I watch scary movies and would of always have wanted to go trick or treating. However I know some Christians celebrate it because like me they don't see it as that big of a deal and they don't do it with the intent of "celebrating the devil". Seriously you're dressing up in silly costumes asking for candy. So I just want to ask, which side is right or wrong. Or is there a line in the middle? I understand other Christians have slightly different beliefs then my church, but I never celebrated it because I was told since a young age never to do so, but I do see Christians here who say they have. It's fine just confused as to what the real answer is to this Halloween thing.
So every holiday including Christmas has pagan roots. That is because the elite in charge thought it would be easier to switch people from pagan to Christianity and they did some awful things in the process.
1. Getting rid of the Sabbath. Saturday was used up until the 1700s. It's even in the bible and it being the 7th. We dismiss it indicating Jesus rose on the 3rd day and somehow we're suppose to believe it was a Sunday. Idk how we would know that. But really the elite changed the day. Period. And GOD says it's Saturday... well Friday night into Saturday. The lunar calendar. Sunday.... the sun god is incorrect. Solar calendar is pagan.
2. Even Christmas.... the tree. It's pagan. Also we use to have 13 months and Jesus was likely born in the spring.
Jeremiah 10:3
For the practices of the peoples are worthless;
they cut a tree out of the forest,
and a craftsman shapes it with his chisel.
4 They adorn it with silver and gold;
they fasten it with hammer and nails
so it will not totter.

Jehova witnesses give up every holiday for this reason too. But honestly I don't want to do that either. I enjoy celebrating all the holidays and so do my kids. My son was only 2 during covid and still remembers not celebrating a bunch of holidays. I watched him cry on his birthday bc we were on that lock down and conveniently had no electricity for days at the same time. It was total bs. The elite are responsible for all of it so they can pay the price and I'm going to enjoy my life. They would change time periods to reign longer even.
