Father Gabriele Amorth, who was appointed by the late John Paul II as the Vatican's chief exorcist and claims to have performed thousands of exorcisms, said Emanuela Orlandi was later murdered and her body disposed of.

In the latest twist in one of the Holy See's most enduring mysteries, he said the 15-year-old schoolgirl was snatched from the streets of central Rome in the summer of 1983 and forced to take part in sex parties.

"This was a crime with a sexual motive. Parties were organised, with a Vatican gendarme acting as the 'recruiter' of the girls.

"The network involved diplomatic personnel from a foreign embassy to the Holy See. I believe Emanuela ended up a victim of this circle," Father Amorth, the honorary president of the International Association of Exorcists, told La Stampa newspaper.

The debate over who kidnapped Emanuela and what became of her has raged in Italy for three decades.

There is nothing wrong with Baptizing Infants mwc68. But this is NOT how we receive Salvation. In fact John the Baptist said we needed to repent first then be Baptized.

The belief that baptism cleanses from original sin is so much mumbo jumbo. If it were true children in churches which baptised infants would be better behaved and more receptive than children in other churches which is patently not so. It is just one more of those imaginary ideas that the Roman Catholic church invented in order to control people's lives and force them to do what the Roman Catholic church wanted. To suggest that man controls the means of cleansing from sin is blasphemy. This is why, in spite of your protestations , I question whether you are truly saved.

Paul said, "For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel." (1 Corinthians 1:17)

That's a strange thing to say if baptism was included in the gospel.

In Acts 10:44-48, Cornelius and those with him were all saved before baptism.

The Thief on the cross proves we receive Salvation by Faith and Grace. It also proves we do not need to be Baptized to receive Salvation.

The stain of sin is also made up by the Catholic Church. No where in the Scriptures does God say we have to work off our stain of our sins. In fact God does say He cleanses us of our "stain" of our sins.
