Wide variety of doctrines? Why does the RCC have such a huge array of unbiblical doctrines and unholy traditions? Not much is biblically based, but man-made and religion driven.
Outside of your man-made religion, Christians the world over maintain unity in the most crucial biblical truths about the great love of God, who Jesus is, about the virgin birth, about his death, burial and resurrection, about the new life in Christ through faith, about the Triune God and the ministry of the Holy Spirit, not to mention that Jesus will return for His own.
Then why do you attribute the leadership of your "church" to men? That's the problem, right there.

Because there needs to be organization. Paul wrote about this organization inhis letter to Timothy. If there is no organization, then we get the chaos of the protestants who can't seem to agree on anything
I have to disagree with your summary of the faith as unbiblical. The Bible is a Catholic book of letters and epistles (including theOT)arranged in the current cannon of 73 books in 382AD. Why anyone would believe the Church teaches contrary to the bible is amazing and ignorant. Everytime I hear we are "unbiblical" it just means you have been taught propaganda and its always the same old thing. Look through this thread! All the protestants want to do is keep posting the propaganda bullet points and refuse to answer our questions. None of you have done any serious study because you keep getting doctrines wrong over and over again. Then when we refuse to hear your bogus translations, we get told we are going to hell. As far as man- -made religion, well, Jesus Christ himself instututed the Eucharist at the Last Supper which was the first Mass. So, i guess we are a man-made religion, made by the man Jesus Christ (Yeshua)

Its amazing how the Catholics claim, mwc68, they do not teach contrary to what God says in the bible, but yet see's nothing wrong with teaching Mary was born without sin.

I've read Timothy hundreds of times. I still can't find his mention of popes and cardinals, or even diocesan bishops.

That is simply untrue. There is no direct evidence that the council in 382 AD arranged any canon of books. The RC evidence is spurious.
The Bible was a book long before the Roman Catholic church came into existence. It was sufficiently recognised for Clement, Ignatius, Justin and Irenaeus to quote from it. And they did not obtain it from the Roman church which did not have a monarchical bishop until mid 2nd century.
No it means we look in the Bible and can't find most of your doctrines. And YOU can't show us them there either.
