If the dead are dead and can't see, speak or hear, then please explain how Jesus was witnessed speaking with Moses and Elijah? Moses we know died and Elijah was "assumed " into heaven. How was Jesus able to speak with these saints ?

I attend Mass with Catholic doctors, a Catholic marine biologist, Catholic lawyers, Catholic executives in the oil industry, Catholic school officials and Catholic members of our local law enforcement and rescue services. Are you telling me all these people are of low intelligence? I'm a Catholic musician and choir director and sometimes feel of low intelligence(LOL) , but it does take a few brains to take music to the professional level I do! I'm offended at you statement Mr. Henderson and I am questioning your mental stability!

Actually this is a flawed and unending debate not to engage in when it comes to Young Earth or Old Earth......

The reason is because the young earth defenders use the bible as their main source as should be, and which will always be rejected by old earth defenders who put their faith in a flawed dating system.

Every single one of the dating systems have been proven to be wrong do to different variables that can and does affect the result. They have done many tests to show how things being exposed for periods of high heat or extreme cold for instance does give off wrong dates for items.

For radio carbon dating yes, ive read both young earth and old earth arguments. Young earth tends to strawman saying old earth hinges entirely on radiocarbon dating. It doesnt. As i said though, it isnt sonething worth making into a theological sticking point, especially when both sides get so heated.

i also hate to see people i know are good christians resort to character attacks and strawman arguments against fellow believers just because those believers think the Bible meant day-age, not literal 24 hours. (Especially considering the day wasnt created until a few days in)
