quite true. It was one church made up of many independent churches made one in Christ. It was the church founded on Apostolic teaching and the traditions of the life of Jesus which eventually became the Gospels. The early church confirmed that those were the only acceptable traditions by rejecting all but the four Gospel in 2nd century AD. Those who belonged to that church were all who had come to our Lord Jesus Christ for salvation and rejected all tradition that was not according to the word of God as Christ had commanded.

There is no denomination or church today who can claim solely to represent that church. For today it is made up of all who have truly believed in Jesus Christ for salvation no matter what their denomination.

yes and it was made up of hundreds of independent churches. All today who follow the Apostles' teaching as found in the Scriptures and have come to Christ for Him to be their personal Saviour are members of that church no matter what denomination they belong to,

As far as i know, the Eucharist was established on Holy Thursday, aka The Lord's Supper, and also the Mass.

But not as a cannibal feast. It was a feast of remembrance of Christ's death.

If you read about the assemblies in the book of Acts, it is the Mass virtually unchanged to this day.

If that is so provide the verses that indicate the Mass ritual. If you cannot, you cannot say it is unchanged. WE ALL refer to the bread as the body of Christ given for us, and the wine as the blood of the new covenant shed for us.

This is what the Apostles taught about how to worship God.

Provide one example of a liturgy they used found in the New Testament.

I have never read a scripture that said churches can be independent.

Then read the New Testament where ALL the churches were independent.

The seven churches in Rev are an excellent example about what happens when you go independent

So you agree that the seven churches held in Christ's hand were all independent?. Enough said

God did not stretch out His hands to the pagan nations, but to Israel, whom He called and chose.

There are a few from the rcc He called, and some of them were chosen and came out.

Most are like the babylonians, lost forever. (according to Scripture).

He won't make you repent, and He won't wait forever, so you might be lost forever -- He takes no pleasure in the

But it was Jesus Himself who told us that those who put tradition before the word of God were 'blind fools'. Should we not accept His words?

Matthew 5 was talking about a general dismissal of someone without grounds. It is not forbidden when we have grounds provided by Jesus
