Had a pet scan follow up. The last one was clear just 6 months ago. I now have 2 areas that need a biospy in a few days.
Both are about 7mm. Doctor wants to do radiation this time.
All things considered with my health problems over the past 2 1/2 years, I'm numb to it all. Just tired.
I wish folks would listen to what I have written about praise/worship but people resist change to traditions.

Please pray as led

Thank You Father for Your grace in our lives. I ask You to heal our brother from this illness. And I ask that You continue to work through him to bring Your message of hope to those who need to hear it. The message of hope in Christ for such times as these in the lives of those who do not know You. To those in need of Your salvation from this temporary world of darkness. And that You work to bring them out if this darkness and into Your marvelous light. In Jesus name.. Amen!

Biopsy yesterday. Now there's 3 spots. One at 10 mm is just a few days.
Not much doubt that they are cancer. Doctors want to use radiation
and Chemo this time. 7 rounda of radiation 5 days a week - off on weekends.
Frequency of chemo unknown at this point.

Please ask for guidance from Holy Spirit on how to pray for this and please
follow His guidance

I went through about five weeks of chemo accompanied by radiation back in 2020, from the end of April to beginning of June. They had originally told me I was stage 3, but following my first surgery in August of that same year, they downgraded (or would it be upgraded?) to stage two, as the radiation and chemo together had greatly shrunk the tumor before it was removed. My chemo was pill form and daily minus weekends also, and then following the surgery, I went back on chemo every day for rounds of two weeks on and one week off, until early January of '21, at which time chemo was cut a bit short due to severe side effects I was experiencing. I will pray for you David...

Thank you Magenta, I appreciate the info. Been serching on line about the side effects. Almost tmi to process at times.

I was stage 3 at the first surgery so stage 2 was progress.

I was on Capecitabine, orally, I had to take multiple pills to get the proper dosage, twice a day, and the side effects were somewhat numerous, but mostly manageable, especially since this was all during covid closures time, and I had been involuntarily laid off my job, which was perfect timing for me to go through all my treatments and hospital this and that, daily with the radiation... and hospital and clinic parking was even free at that time. Haha. So multiple side effects including dry eye which is actually eyes watering all the time, and nasal issues, and increased sleep, my goodness, hitting that wall was kind of a new experience for me, naps every day (sometimes more than one!) and to bed nightly at 7 pm, up at 4 am every day without fail through all that. The worst side effect was the foot neuropathy; both that and the nasal and eye issues have persisted but also decreased over time. The foot neuropathy caused my chemo to be ended before the original end time, as the last two weeks was cancelled. Any ways, there are so many chemo drugs and even cancers, it is crazy. My closest sister has had a double mastectomy (a year apart) and I was surprised to find out how many types of just breast cancer there are. The fact that any type can strike anyone at any time regardless of how healthy they are otherwise is daunting. I will keep you in my prayers...
 
@oldman i will light a candle for you at the church for strength and healing.
Also, please ask your doctor if any type of immunotherapy is available for you and your type of cancer. Please.
Ask other hospitals too if you're able ... see if you can do telehealth visits instead of going to a place since it can get exhausting.

Certain mushrooms have antitumor properties.

A friend sent me some when I got sick recently and had a lot of inflammation head to toe. It calmed down the inflammation and I felt better within hours.
The particular kind I use support my immune systems killer T cell production dramatically.
It even knocked out a severe infection that was killing me.
God showed mercy.

Dr Josh Axe's Mom was healed of cancer. Here's Information on that and other videos that I pray will be helpful.
May the Lord heal you quickly and completely.

Just prayed for the power of the Holy Spirit to touch your body and help your system fight off the cancer. May the Lord strengthen your body and your faith during this rough time. God bless you!

@oldman , last time you told me that your wife and daughter helped you during your treatments .

If you’re not able, have them call Dana Farber in Boston at 617-632-3000
https://www.dana-farber.org/contact and see if they can set you up with a telehealth visit for your type of cancer and hopefully insurance won’t become a problem since you’re out of state.

This is where I send my mother for pancreatic cancer because it’s one of the best hospitals in the north east.

Leave all your anxiety to God and try to eat as much as you can, because I know eating is difficult.

May God give you strength and complete healing.

biospy came back negative for camcer so now I don't know what's going on. I have a follow up with cancer doctors in a few days. guess I'll have more info then

Brother David, I found all of this class profitable, but the last half especially relevant. This is a research Dr who bought two city blocks to establish a community clinic after working 10 years in a hospital ER, and graduated from an ivy League college. Sometimes credentials like that matter, but not to me. I just find her teaching down to earth and far more practical than any of the premed classes I took.

Not sure if they are lumps or what. Just 3 spots on the b/w copy of the ct scan. One is on a lymph node, the others look like fine scattered beach sand. More dense in the middle
 
My doctors, both the onocoligst and radiologist, advise going ahead with radiation and chemo/immuno therapy. 5 weeks - 5 days a week-
for the radiation plus chemo infusion, Then a full year of chemo/immuno therapy. Once every 3 weeks.

I think the rapid reappearence kind of suprised the doctors.

Hope and pray my insurance holds up.
