AHHH ok friend, if I had no choice I would have to eat ham to survive, I know how to make sausages and freeze them. I have a freezer full at home, but pure beefIf you give me a potato and call it a hamburger, it's still a potato.
Meat is a great source of protein. And, by golly, it just tastes good. There may come a day when for some reason it finds it's way out of my diet, but until then I'm going to glorify God by enjoying it.AHHH ok friend, if I had no choice I would have to eat ham to survive, I know how to make sausages and freeze them. Does that imply one MUST own a donkey?
I agree fat has flavor, but meat doesn't lack flavor. Everything has a taste. But that's what spices are for.lol ok
But you know it's only the fat you taste, if you over cook meat until there's no fat it's tasteless right, the real thing is gone.
But if you apply butter on top it becomes tasty again.
It becomes the real thing again.
It's the same for quorn pepperoni, put a bit of fat on it and it's the real thing.
Or even a veggie burger.
I honestly can't tell the difference when I do that.
Try it you'll be surprised.
Fry some Quorn bacon a veggie burger and a fried egg, wak them in a sandwich with butter and brown sauce, I bet you find it's just as good and feels like the real thing.
Even drip some animal lard on top or fry the veggie burger in animal lard. Which is animal fat gone hard. Preferably beef lard.
you obviously haven't steamed it long enough, it loses its taste all together once the fat is gone.I agree fat has flavor, but meat doesn't lack flavor. Everything has a taste. But that's what spices are for.
Mc Ribs (yum) absolutely do. Romans 14 again. Most pepperoni that I've run across has pork in it... j/s.
