I am sure he won't apologize and I don't really care if he does but that was beyond uncalled for
@Blain Nothing but encouragement from me. We all have deficiencies and things that we think hold us back.

But God has provided and will provide........

Play the victim card, or rise up.

I doubt God would say to a person who is registered blind, you can play the victim card, personally I believe he would be is guide at all times.

The only victim card I see here is your excuse to excuse yourself

Thank you for having my back I am shocked at the level of well whatever you want to call it lack of empathy and understanding maybe?

The victim card that actually made me laugh cakking a legit disorder playing the victim card if we were in public and around other people and he said that he would get a lot of boos and jeers because what he has said is highly frowned upon

I don't have the heart to call a disabled person making excuses

Just bread and water in a deep dark pit for 40 days would be the thing that would cause him to repent.

Yeah well it is done and over with and he said what he said so even if he doesn't repent as a follower of Christ we need to forgive him

.... Are you Catholic? ;)
FYI, I did not run out to the butcher shop get some lambs blood and paint it on my doorframe if you get my drift.

And only the Apostles (in a representative capacity) actually drank from the cup of betrothal.....;)

Forget yes meaning there sin doesn't have to bother you. but forgiveness comes after repentance for me.

If there sin against you is still bothering you can bring witnesses against them.

Is this now become the "somebody hurt my feelings" thread?
I literally heard 1 hr of bible doctrine from Robert Mclaughlin (the Basics).......And I scooped up my wife and kids and left Soveriegn hope Church.

Some want the truth and some don't.

There is only one truth and that is found in Jesus Christ, I don't know if one hour of listening to someone is enough to warrent abandoning a church you go to but that is your decision

Although if they were teaching heresy then I can certainly understand that

That is the whole point.

Ironically, those who do not believe in free will, willfully defy what God's will is for their lives.

As we know...

You can not shame anyone into seeing Truth.
They will just cling to their old ways of bonding with others, while refusing to lose their way of life of old.

They are now bonding with each other over something that offended someone.

For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it." Mat 16:25
Instead, they keep clinging to one another in their old ways of comforting one another, when it was God preparing believers to face the lions if need be.

We have to face the harsh realities and overcome them with the new life we have been offered.
Not resort to clinging to one another in our emotions. Then grace will must do its work to make us strong and peaceful
in spite of what may be presented to us.

Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me.
And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.”
Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s
sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 Corinthians 12:8-10

For them... When they are being strong? They are remaining weak.

We know it hurts. But you got to get sound doctrine or remain standing upon your own strength.

the heresy of freewill has just popped it's head up again friend in case its just passed you by. The heresy is a person can simply choose, on the bases of what they want to know.
And mans free will of wanting to know on the bases he can, and want to know means that kind free will is the blessing from God.

Now to elaborate on this, wanting to know is a blessing, but wanting to know the spiritual things of God is the bigger Blessing That God makes known internally to a person, whether saved or not. To make them have the will to know and want. This is the importance of understanding his grace before putting free will first. The catholic church believed that didn't matter

This is a bookmarked phrase that I will plagiarize!
Great post brother. The whole of it. Just a comment on this fragment though.
A benevolent God. His will and purpose is for the BENEFIT of all, and we do not see that will played out, Why?
Freewill of mankind.

Do you want the truth?

Robert Mclaughlin.....I am very familiar with him. He has the cross series and the basics. Not to mention 1000's of hrs of doctrine. All free.
Col Thieme.
Stephen Chronister.

Look them up. And the links have been provided......Life changing.

@Blain 1 John 1:9. Name and site any known sins to God if you have any. This brings us into fellowship.......and truly ask Him if you should do a diligent study with any of the above mentioned.

You only have I known of all the families of the earth: therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities.

Can ***two*** walk together, except they be agreed?

I have walked out of "Churches" after 15 minutes never to return. Many times!
One time upon leaving I saw the senior pastor in the parking lot.
I simply told him that the so-called preaching was nothing more than worldly useless sinister nonsense.
The lady sub-pastor was literally preaching Madonna (yep her) as a role model for young girls and teens!
At another, the young Jr. Pastor was preaching Bono (yep him) as a beacon of righteousness.

Both were packed with young impressionable youths and large congregation BTW.

Bye!

Exo 16:15
And when the children of Israel saw it, they said one to another, It is manna: for they wist not what it was. And Moses said unto them, This is the bread which the LORD hath given you to eat.

Exo 16:16
This is the thing which the LORD hath commanded, Gather of it every man according to his eating, an omer for every man, according to the number of your persons; take ye every man for them which are in his tents.

Exo 16:18
And when they did mete it with an omer, he that gathered much had nothing over, and he that gathered little had no lack; they gathered every man according to his eating.
