If they were seeking salvation from the Romans why were they looking for a Jewish King? You make no sense. The Jews (in general) hated the Romans. I can assure you, they were not looking at the Romans for salvation.
No you misunderstand they were seeking to be free from the romans hence salvation from them as in salvation from the romans grasp

Ok but I would not call that seeking salvation from the Romans unless you add "from their grasp" otherwise it sounds like you are saying they wanted the Romans to save them.

As far as they are concerned from what I see, they think morality is spirituality. You can't understand the former unless you can understand the latter.

The Gospel is about right and wrong. Sin is lawlessness, for which Christ died. Anyone can understand lawlessness, if not, the Law would have been completely ineffective in discerning between the two.

If the light is shone (and it is by grace), the choice can be made to accept or reject. :)
Amen. I pray the reformed/calvie/tulip theory folks would read this and take it to heart.

I wonder why people followed Jesus then... I guess they were not seeking.

Have you ever noticed how a good number of them approached Jesus, asking him what they needed to do to inherit eternal life?

Luke 18:18
Mark 10:17
Matthew 19:16
Luke 10:25

Why was that happening with the Jews?

The Pharisees had the people brainwashed into salvation by works.
Not only works... But works that the individually would prescribe for the people to do.
It is one main reason Jesus hated the teaching of the Pharisees.

In the mean while...
Jesus was seen by the people as a rabbi with his disciples.
Rabbis with disciples were known to promote a series of works to do to be saved.

Jesus was seen a very well known rabbi among the people.
So, many wanted to learn from him what works he would prescribe for salvation.

And?

That is why Jesus slammed them with needing to eat his flesh and drink his blood!
For he was purposely hitting them over the head with what they would think are works that He knew would repel them!
For he did not want people following Him who thought one is to be saved by their works.

Just the same.
Eating His flesh and drinking his blood, were spiritual, and not to be taken literally.
They were pointing to salvation...

So, in that way, Jesus shook off all the dead weight that had been dragging behind Him.

Setting was: John 6:60-66

Especially... Verse 60!

"On hearing it, many of his disciples said,
“This is a hard teaching. Who can accept it?”

They were waiting to hear from Jesus what works he would have them to do.
And, they did.

And, that is why they took off...

ok then that is my bad then

Cain came along. We will see him in the eternal state IMO.
You mean the child of the devil ? 1 Jn 3:12

Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous.

Or it was written of him Jude 1:11

Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core

Very pleasant of you, a pig has better manners than you.

Don't you realize????
You just said...

"Very pleasant of you, a pig has better manners than you."

You keep doing to others that which you keep complaining about when someone attempts to mirror back to you.

You behave like someone who came out of a very sheltered life, having no one ever correcting you while growing up.
A very spoiled and pampered child.

You are going to keep having problems with normal people until you face this trend in you, and deal with it before the Lord.

Time to up your game young man. There are plenty of resources available.

***************************************

In Matthew 22:14, Jesus concludes the parable of the wedding banquet with the statement, “For many are called, but few are chosen.” To understand who does the calling and choosing in this parable, we need to consider the context, the specific words Jesus uses, and the implications of the original Greek.

1. Who Does the Calling?

The King in the parable clearly represents God, who extends the initial invitation to the wedding banquet. The verb κεκλημένους (perfect passive participle) indicates that the guests were already invited long before the banquet was ready. This implies that God had extended His invitation to His chosen people (the Israelites) throughout history. The perfect tense emphasizes a completed action with ongoing relevance — they were invited in the past, and that invitation still stands.

2. Who Does the Choosing?

The phrase “few are chosen” does not imply that God is selectively choosing a few from among the invited. Instead, it reflects the response of the invitees themselves. The Greek phrase ὀλίγοι ἐκλεκτοί (“few are chosen”) consists of two adjectives functioning as nouns, emphasizing the number of those who actually responded properly to the invitation.

Thus, the “choosing” in this context refers to those who chose to attend the banquet with the proper heart and preparation. The parable emphasizes that being called or invited by God does not automatically grant entrance to the Kingdom; it requires a willing and appropriate response from those invited.
"it requires a willing and appropriate response from those invited."

[Mat 22:11-14 KJV]
11 And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment:

12 And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.

13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast [him] into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

14 For many are called, but few [are] chosen.

Interesting. What do you base it on?
Gen 4:7
If you do well, will your face not be cheerful? And if you do not do well, sin is lurking at the door; and its desire is for you, but you must master it.”

The Lord Jesus Christ would NEVER ask an unbeliever to master sin....He knows they can't and it does them no good(salvation wise.)

Cain was a believer in extreme reversionism........Under extreme discipline.

Rom 5:20
The Law came in so that the offense would increase; but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more,

I agree. And this can't be stressed enough.

This is Satans trump card.

The loss of salvation crowd uses it.

And the calvies use it.......with jokers involved.

And the Lord Jesus Christ can say that about anyone of us who are out of fellowship with Him.

Peter?

Woe unto the calvies, for they have gone the way of the pharisees.......Doesn't mean the calvies are unsaved. Just deceived with loss of rewards.......1000 years of Bible 101 in the millennium.
