You may say that, but obviously you dont understand it. Dont you believe some for whom Christ died will yet die in their sins ?
You obviously don't understand that your Calvinist pretensions are falsified when cross checking with the pertinent OT referential patterns shadows and types.

Prove me wrong. If you are able.

So you're big now on typology, are you? Tell me: Since the Exodus is a type of Redemption, did Abraham's descendants' "freewill" save them from Pharaoh or was it all God's efficacious rescuing grace/power?

I have a question for one and all: The menu bar that contains all the various icons by which we can enhance our messages is greyed out on my computer. I thought maybe something went amiss with my Firefox browser, so I rebooted but nothing changed. Is anyone else experiencing this problem or are all your icons active/clickable?

Check to make sure that your toggle BB code is not on (or off),

It's the very last icon and looks like a cog...

click it and see if your icons come back.

And finally before I call it a night, I want to wish everyone a joyous and peace-filled Christmas as we contemplate the mind-boggling, incomprehensible humility of God-Incarnate for leaving his eternal glory so that He could live the life that none of us could ever live and die the death that none us could have ever died so that God's people could live with their Creator-Redeemer for all eternity and share in His majestic glory.

at the end of the day, just remember to let go of the stuff that is not true. we run into all kinds of stuff in our daily lives and we are instructed to cast all our cares to God. He will take them from us and apply His healing balm to our hurting hearts.

We hold a great treasure in these earthen vessels. Some share of the great treasure God has placed within us and some do not, sad to say.

I don't have anyone on ignore and Rufus cannot hurt me ... he only hurts himself in his behavior toward and treatment of other members of the body of the Lord Jesus Christ.

.
well merry Christmas to you, Rufus will be Rufus, he doesn't back down even when he's wrong, like he was about my faith, but yeah I won't ignore him, but I will give up being spoken to harshly, but it could be he's been enticed by the other harsh people here, so I'll reserve Judgement I think 😔

Son of a gun! It worked. :D Thanks, sis. Appreciate your help.

Thank you, Jordon. I admit that while I'm not always right, I'm still never wrong.

But give me ONE thing that I said that you think was in error. I know we disagreed on foreknowledge, whereby you seem to hold to the popular misconception that Foreknowledge is all about God's prescience whereas the biblical evidence strongly suggests that it's about God's prerogative. Or if you want to tackle some other topic, I'll listen to you.

Merry Christmas, maybe after Christmas, 🙂

Well said and the same to you. Thank you, Rufus. Roger

You are welcome! Turning that off is great for when you are copying something with a lot of hot links you don't want
included, or for when you are copying one of your own posts with hotlinks and fonts effects that you do want included.

Sometimes removing all that hidden code is necessary just to keep under the maximum
allowable number of characters, though I myself rarely ever approach that LOL.
.:D

Everything about man is dead to God by nature, hence as Jesus said, one must be born again or created a new man
yup before you get made alive by a new spirit as in your spirit being renewed by God as in spiritual rebirth, God can still be alive in a person, it's called his life for a reason, as he holds the key to life and death,

So basically God can be Good in an a person whos being prepared for renewal because his life is still in that person

I believe He is called God because He has 3 devine natures, the first devine nature God the father can live in the heart of the unsaved,

And from a distance he can speak to his mercy placed in that heart, and he can also put a prick in there conscience, that can light up the heart like a Christmas tree 🙂

Merry Christmas

Even the Grinches can have a merry Christmas 😋

Yep the soul is still alive in the unsaved because it's called God life, it's where is sword can divide the soul from the flesh whilst there living, and his sword can provide a hedge of protection, until there handed to the son.

Merry Christmas

[Psa 19:1-4 KJV] 1 [[To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.]]
The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.

2 Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.

3 [There is] no speech nor language, [where] their voice is not heard.

4 Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,

I go by what you post

You go by what you think I say, not what I say. Like many, you filter other people's words through your own paradigm rather than trying to understand theirs first.

I told you we are saved by grace alone and you tell me I don't understand grace. <shrug>

Maybe it is you who are deficient in understanding what God's grace can do.
