Really? Even when such hardening works for a greater good, e.g. God's gracious rescue mission of the ancient Hebrews from Egypt which He accomplished by hardening Pharaoh's heart?

But... was it good for Pharaoh?

It's not doing you any good either.

......

God gives everyone MFW, which allows souls either to be mules or to be made in the image of Christ
(Rom. 12:2, 2Cor. 4:4-18).

Oh...so we clay pots get to decide if we're made in the image of God/Christ? Read Gen 1 someday. (I know it's a long chapter with 31 verses. But if you do just a verse a day, you'll discover the truth within a month since the text appears before the end of the chapter.)

You are very resourceful... in a destructive sort of way.

The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan,
who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.
Revelation 12:9

By the way.
I have a close relative who created this artwork.

It was a book about an epic story between good and evil.

You keep being like a child trying to fit into an adult world.

You keep trying to superimpose fantasy into a slot reserved for reality.

I hope you are young.
Then there is hope for you.

If you are older?
Then you are your own problem.

Doeeeeeeeeee.

Your imagination is very enlightening 🙂

......

This stupid, man-exalting, man-glorifying question not only betrays your gross ignorance of the scriptures but the whole purpose for why God does what He does FOR and TO mankind! You think God acted for the sake of Pharaoh or did He act for his own glory AND for the good of his chosen people!

Rom 9:17
17 For the Scripture says to Pharaoh:
"I raised you up for this very purpose, that I might display MY power in you and that MYname might be proclaimed in all the earth."
NIV

And,

Ex 14:4
4 And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, and he will pursue them
. But I will gain glory for myself through Pharaoh and all his army, and the Egyptians will know that I am the LORD." So the Israelites did this.
NIV

You not only have utter disdain for God's sovereign rule in His universe, but you loathe His glory as well since your glorify yourself. You think this fallen world revolves around wicked mankind, don't you? And man even gets to choose (according to one poster) whether he wants to be made in the image of God or not.

And, yes, the Exodus was exceedingly good for me because it was a major stepping stone to fulfillment of messianic promises.

2 Chronicles 19:3 Nevertheless good things are found in you, in that you have removed the wooden images from the land, and have prepared your heart to seek God

2 Chronicles 12:14 And he did evil, because he did not prepare his heart to seek the LORD.

2 Chronicles 30:18 …But Hezekiah prayed for them, saying, “May the good LORD provide atonement for everyone 19 who prepares his heart to seek God, the LORD God of his fathers, though he is not cleansed according to the purification of the sanctuary.”

Ezra 7:10 For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the Law of the LORD, and to do it, and to teach statutes and ordinances in Israel.

They were good [for nothing] teachers.

FTFY! You should urgently summon these "good teachers" to give you answers to the theological problems I raised in my 27,679 & 27,725. All I hear from you and your other clueless comrades are crickets. None of you worldly wise people have any answers, do you? And this proves what scripture says about you guys: That the wisdom of man is foolishness to God!

All deeds are seen in the light of the lord for any individual, until God hands them over to disobedience.

Now search the scripture and use your imagination for what that could possibly mean for being seen in the light for unbelievers.

You'll actually be quite surprised

And to whom was this promise made? And why did you omit v. 10, which speaks to God's conditional love for his people?
I was getting to that part, but once again we never passed first base

I asked him if silent will of the lord is to trust in him. Before i got started.

But then like many here I don't think they can see the will of trust as inherent trust that silently wills a person to trust in him.

Apparently the saved have his will in them

But the unsaved can do it all by themselves.

It's an absolute joke this thread.

My Bible says none seek God. And that heart circumcision is by the Holy Spirit.

As it is written:
There is no one righteous, not even one;
there is no one who understands;
there is no one who seeks God.
All have turned away,
they have together become worthless;
there is no one who does good,
not even one.

“Why do you call Me good?” Jesus replied. “No one is good except God alone.

Nothing good lives in the flesh unless you are a FWer and believe what the Bible says is impossible with man is possible with man.
