I loved that tree, I really did

I had a tree that lost the will to live,

Again, you have to redefine what uncircumcised heart and ears means in light of the context. I see circumcision of the heart in the Old Testament as one being born again. In the NT, being born again happens AFTER one already has faith (which takes place under God's enlightenment, drawing, and conviction, etcetera). Calvinists see being born again as happening before one has faith. So naturally you must ignore the part about how these Jews resisting the Holy Spirit. Again, this scenario makes no sense in the Calvinistic worldview. This is just something you will have to deal with someday.

Again, Modern Bibles are the new kids on the block (i.e., Westcott and Hort's ERV came out in 1881, and the Modern Bibles did not become popular until the 1980s with the NIV). Modern Bibles are based on entirely different Greek texts than the KJV, and there are textual differences that affect doctrine for the worse. You can check out these differences at www.affectionsabove.com. While Modern Bibles may be helpful at times in updating the uncommon words of the KJV on rare occasions, they are by no means reliable. The NIV falsely says that the heart is beyond cure. The CSB says the heart is incurable. None of the translators of the NIV or CSB is even close to the level of scholarship of the KJV translators.
