Well you either you can or you can't which one is it,

And again if I have free will why should you be bothered if I'm arrogant and rude

aw cheers buddy that's made my day.

I'll make sure I'm as rude as possible from now on 🤩

@Jordon : You fight well! I'm impressed!

All right: look after yourself, and I can't wait, I'm sure, to be entertained by more of your rudeness tomorrow!

i asked if you think it's normal to ask me a question to see if i pass your anti Calvinist test, baring in mind I've told you I'm .not one on many occasions

You said you attend a Reformed church here:

You praise John Calvin here::

When discussing the topic of TULIP: In another thread here you dodged a clear point from another poster about how there are limits to what God can do (morally speaking), and then you played the victim card (which he clearly stated you did, and is true from my observation):

https://christianchat.com/threads/loss-of-salvation.215327/post-5581988

Another Calvinist that was in this thread who claims not to be a Calvinist did the same thing with me. He holds to the teachings of Calvin but he gets highly offended if folks refer to Calvinism or say that he is a Calvinist. He wants to be the victim rather than discuss the problems of TULIP or Calvinism. You think that we are bad for attacking the false system of Calvinism. But if you are not a Calvinist as you claim, then you would not have any problem in our attacking TULIP or Calvinism. See, you don't have to call yourself a Calvinist to actually be one in practice or in the eyes of most people in the realm of Christianity. If a person did everything like a Catholic did, and yet they said they are not Catholic, or they prefer not to be called Catholic, it really does not change the fact that they still are Catholic in practice, and that others would see them as Catholic if they bowed to statues of Mary and kissed the pope's feet, etcetera.

While I do not have proof or evidence, it would not surprise me that you and this other person are employing stealth tactics or a PSYOP mission of some kind to throw us off. If you are innocent, I would need to be reassured by a change in your attitude in not continuing down this path of playing the victim card and denying your a Calvinist even though you fight against people who are against Calvinism. Do you really think we are that dumb? The Lord knows if you are telling the truth or not, and if you are, that will bode well for you. But if you are using stealth tactics here along with this other poster, there is going to be a Judgment and it will not be pretty. If one is deceptive in a wrong way, they need to repent and change their wicked ways. I do pray and hope I am wrong this does not pertain to you and the other poster who left this thread at the moment. Maybe it is a coincidence. Maybe you two are innocent. Only the Lord knows. Yet, when I hear stories of other Calvinists using stealth tactics to infiltrate other churches you are not helping the Reformed cause by any means.

While there have been a few exceptions, many of my dealings with Calvinists have not been pleasant over the years.

I'm busy now mate.

But just some notes for you

When a person has many Good reports about them from Good people, you should give credit,.where credit is dew,..it makes no difference if there name is John Calvin or Joe bloggs, well at least not to me

And in the real world people will get Jelouse of you just for having something about yourself.

But for such a person he's only doing what he thinks best, and he doesn't realise that his goodness is a shining example to somebody else's darkness

But the person in darkness trapped is alone and broken inside.

Hes afraid to step into light because hes scared of how he will be Judged or seen

This is where God steps in, and says don't be afraid for my grace is sufficient for you and my power is made perfect in your weakness.. enabling grace to step into light.

Our church teaches that buddy.

And I only go there because it's the nearest one.

Hec it could be a shaker church for all I know, everyone quakes in there it can get cold but also warm.

I asked my church leader if he knew about John Calvin and he said he was a highly respected brother who's devoted work was well treasured by many a good people.

I took his word for it because he's well like to,

He never mentions Calvinism in the church,..but he does mention loving your enemy

John Calvin did desire for Michael Servetus to die for his false belief of anti-Trinitarianism.
Granted, while denying the Trinity is bad, nowhere does Jesus and His followers teach that we are to wish for death upon them.
Jesus taught to love and pray for your enemies.

John Calvin said:

“…I admit, is dreadful; and yet it is impossible to deny that God foreknew what the end of man was to be before he made him, and foreknew, because he had so ordained by his decree… I say, that God not only foresaw the fall… but also at his own pleasure arranged it.” (Institutes, Book 3, Chapter 23, section 7)

Concerning the Eternal Predestination of God, 10:11, John Calvin said:

“It is a quite frivolous refuge to say that evils come to be, not by His will but by His permission… It is a quite frivolous refuge to say that God otiosely permits them, when Scripture shows Him not only willing, but the author of them…"

No wonder you want to distance yourself from him.
