The mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace, because the mind of the flesh is hostile to God: It does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. Those controlled by the flesh cannot please God. Romans 8 v 6-8 This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words. The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit. 1 Corinthians 2 v 13-14

Try telling that to Balaam!
Num 23:12 12 So he [Balaam] answered and said, “Must I not take heed to speak what the Lord has put in my mouth?”

Balaam was a prophet.
Not your typical believer.
God spoke through prophets.

So, if you are a prophet you cannot use your freewill. But, if your not a prophet you can use your freewill?

God controls prophets only when the anointing is present.
Just like Sampson would be filled with great strength by God's will.

Now, you need to ask yourself.
Does God know what he is doing when He chooses someone to be a prophet?

.

Can you please answer my questions?
Here is your answer.....

[Mat 15:21 NKJV]
Then Jesus went out from there and departed to the region of Tyre and Sidon.

[Mat 15:22 NKJV]
And behold, a woman of Canaan came from that region and cried out to Him, saying, "Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David! My daughter is severely demon-possessed."

[Mat 15:23 NKJV]
But He answered her not a word. And His disciples came and urged Him, saying, "Send her away, for she cries out after us."

[Mat 15:24 NKJV]
But He answered and said, "I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel."

[Mat 15:25 NKJV]
Then she came and worshiped Him, saying, "Lord, help me!"

[Mat 15:26 NKJV]
But He answered and said, "It is not good to take the children's bread and throw [it] to the little dogs."

[Mat 15:27 NKJV]
And she said, "Yes, Lord, yet even the little dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters' table."

[Mat 15:28 NKJV]
Then Jesus answered and said to her, "O woman, great [is] your faith! Let it be to you as you desire." And her daughter was healed from that very hour.

I am not speaking against God or His prophets. I am just making the point that God does direct the steps of man. And, when a person wishes to do something [according to his so called freewill] God can and may prevent it. Therefore, our freewill and desires are also being controlled to carry out God's plan.
That means that our freewill is not as free as we may think.

You didn't just move the goalposts, you moved the whole stadium.

The questions deal with Zacchaeus. Did God draw him? And, what does the scripture say is the purpose of the story?

If you don't know, just say so and I'll move on.

I’m not seeing how that makes God and free will incompatible. Is free will stronger?

Proverbs 19 verse 21 Jeremiah 10 verse 23b ~ Many plans are in a man’s heart, but the purpose of the LORD will prevail. No one who walks directs his own steps.

Do you believe that no one comes to Jesus except the Father draws them?
Is your question suggesting free will is more stronger than God? No, it’s not suggesting that (and neither is that verse to which you quoted) as you would not believe anything is more powerful/stronger than God, and neither would Jesus. In fact, that verse proves free will and God can “coexist” lol. I can go in more detail as to why later on if I feel up to it.

Can you just answer yes or no?

No one can know the Father unless Jesus chooses to reveal Him. Of course we get the heretics screaming about
how God does not act unilaterally in matters pertaining to salvation when clearly He does, but to the free wheeling
free willers, that just makes God an unjust tyrannical monster kidnapping people against their idol of free will.

Jordon... you do not belong in a Christian forum.
You would get kicked out of Churches after the congregation got to know you.

You are here to destroy the morale of a Christian forum.
But, you are not alone.
There are a few here that keep sending supplies to your camp...
In my church it says all are welcome and come you are.

But I'm not surprised you imagine churches to not being welcoming,

That will be the devil again hating children of God hating the idea of going to church, and trying to get the truth hiden.

You need help, with how to not listen to the devil along with your new buddy @Blue155 your latest addition to the religious racism squad
